Jerald
Fields
30-year old power forward Jerald Fields (201-F/C-82) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kataja and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Kauhajoki (#5, 9-5) 69-84. Kataja maintains the 3rd position in Finnish league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kataja will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 9-4 record. Fields turned to be Kataja's top player in his first season with the team. Jerald Fields averages this season 15.8ppg and 10.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Dominique Coleman (190-G-84) of Lapua. He is American guard in his first season at Lapua. In the last game Coleman recorded impressive 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Lapua to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked FoKoPo (#11, 3-11) 115-83. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Lapua managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Lapua managed to get this year. Coleman is a newcomer at Lapua and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Martin Zeno (196-G-85) of league's second-best Nilan Bisons. Zeno showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Nilan Bisons, leading his team to a 92-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Kouvot (#7, 6-8). Nilan Bisons needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 3 lost games. Zeno has a great season in Finland. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.9apg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bojan Sarcevic (190-G-88) of KTP - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Devonne Giles (203-F-83) of KTP - 21 points and 10 rebounds
6. Troy Barnies (200-F-89) of Salon Vilpas - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
7. J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87) of Kauhajoki - 24 points and 6 rebounds
8. Dwight Tolbert (195-F-86) of Lapua - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Gilberto Clavell (201-F-89) of Kouvot - 24 points and 4 rebounds
10. Trey Hampton (203-F-87) of Lapua - 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
