Korisliiga, round 22: KTP (Kotka) defeated Bisons from Loimaa tonight 87-81 (49-42). Quarters: 20-19, 29-23, 13-19, 25-20. There were 11 lead changes and five ties during the game. FTs were one key for this kind of result. KTP (16-6) made 18/20 FTs (90%), Bisons (17-5) had 16 FTs out of them half/50% made (8/16). Bisons sharpshooters Mikko Koivisto (194-G-87, college: NC-Greensboro) and Martin Zeno (196-G-85, college: Texas Tech) had this time difficulties from behind the arc. Koivisto was 0/5 and Zeno 0/3. KTP won the rebounds 45-36, so Bisons was not playing the best game this season. Devonne Giles (203-F-83, college: Texas Tech) (KTP) had a double-double 24/14. Jeb Ivey (190-G-80, college: Portland St.) led Bisons with 21 points.

In Division 1 A there were two contests. Torpan Pojat (Helsinki) won over Pyrinto II (Tampere) 102-82 (50-42). Marcus Capers (193-G-89, college: Washington St.) led ToPo with 22 pts. Elias Kajander (196-F-80) added 20 pts. Joni Harjula (189-G-83) scored 25 pts for Pyrinto.
Tarmo (Porvoo) crushed Huima (Aanekoski) 93-55 (40-31). Isaiah Tate (192-G-89, college: George Mason) led Tarmo with 23 pts. Jerrah Young (201-F-85, college: Toledo) had a double-double again (13pts/11rbs) and Vernon "Windmill" Taylor (190-G-87, college: Troy) added 13 pts. The fourth quarter was 40-10 for Tarmo.
