American J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Kauhajoki and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 34 points and eleven rebounds, while his team was edged out by LrNMKY (#7, 11-11) 78-77. Kauhajoki maintains the 5th position in Finnish Korisliiga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kauhajoki will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 14-8 record. In the team's last game Bullock had a remarkable 65.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Kauhajoki's top player in his first season with the team. Cleveland State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bullock is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.1ppg), rebounds (9th best: 7.8rpg) and averages solid 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American forward Devonne Giles (203-F-83) of KTP. Giles impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for KTP to edge slightly higher-ranked Nilan Bisons (#2, 17-5) by 6 points 87-81. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. KTP consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 16-6 record is not bad at all. Giles is a newcomer at KTP and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Troy Barnies (200-F-89) of Salon Vilpas (#8). Barnies got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . Despite Barnies' great performance Salon Vilpas lost 70-74 to the higher-ranked Pyrinto (#1, 17-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Salon Vilpas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 15 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Barnies could try to bring Salon Vilpas' a little bit higher in the standings. Barnies has a very solid season. In 21 games in Finland he scored 14.4ppg. He also has 7.0rpg and FGP: 53.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Johnell Smith (180-PG-80) of Kataja - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists
5. Gilberto Clavell (201-F-89) of Kouvot - 21 points and 13 rebounds
6. Charles Burgess (186-PG-84) of FoKoPo - 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Louis Johnson (206-F/C-86) of Namika Lahti - 17 points and 11 rebounds
8. Jonte Flowers (196-F/G-85) of Kataja - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Samuel Haanpaa (203-SG-86) of Lapua - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jordan Hasquet (206-F-85) of Namika Lahti - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
