Kyle Shiloh
EuroChallenge, Last 16, Group I, round 2: What a thriller it was. Once again everybody understood, basketball games are lasting at least 40 minutes! Kataja (Joensuu) visiting Romania and the hosting CS Gaz Metan Medias leading almost all the time. But sharpshooter Antti Kanervo (193-SG-89) made his eight 3-pointer (8/11 from behind the arc) in the game and Kataja was finally ahead by one (80-81), when there was 22 seconds on the clock. Five seconds later Kanervo was 1/2 at the FT-line and Kataja was leading by two 80-82. But American G Kyle Shiloh (191-PG-85, college: Nevada), who has played earlier two seasons (2007-08 and 2009-10) even in Finland, made his 3-pointer from down town with three seconds left on the clock, and the Romanian team was leading 83-82. During the last second Gaz Metan Medias made one FT and the final digits were 84-82 (45-33). Quarters: 25-16, 20-17, 17-26, 22-23.
CS Gaz Metan Medias - Kataja 84-82 (45-33). (Ivan Lilov 19, Kyle Shiloh 17, Ivan Ivanovic 16/9. 1 - 57,1% (8/14), 2 - 62,2% (23/37), 3 - 50,0% (10/20). R: 23+9=32.
