Korisliiga, round 30: KTP (Kotka) winning tonight again. Now 10 victories in a row. KTP defeated this time YMCA Lahti 97-73 (53-38). KTP (24-6) had no difficulties with YMCA Lahti (7-23). Sefton Barrett (196-SF-83, agency: Limelight Hoops, college: Cent.Michigan) scored game high 26 points, Devonne Giles (203-F-83, college: Texas Tech) and Timo Heinonen (198-F-81) added 21 pts both. Jordan Hasquet led YMCA Lahti with 18 pts. In Tampere Pyrinto crushed UU-Korihait (Uusikaupunki) by 35 pts 108-73 (58-31). Pyrinto won all four quarters. Lamonte Ulmer (198-SF-86, college: Rhode Island) led the hosts with 19 pts. Antero Lehto (184-G-84) netted 18 pts.
Bisons from Loimaa visited at Lapua and crushed local Korikobrat 64-94 (28-42). Bisons won also the rebounds: 29-45. Kimmo Muurinen (202-F-81, college: UALR) scored game high 17 pts. Ryan McDade (201-F-80, college: N.Arizona) had a double-double 14pts/13rbs. Newcomer Jeffrey Bonds (199-F-82, college: Cal Poly Pomona) netted 14 pts in 27:34 minutes. Bonds was replacing Dwight Tolbert (195-F-86, college: Lander).
Karhu (Kauhajoki) was too strong for FoKoPo (Forssa), even on the road. FoKoPo (7-23) lost by 16 pts 82-98 (32-41). Charles Burgess (186-PG-84, college: Texas Tech) scored 28 pts for FoKoPo and J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Cleveland St.) had also 28 pts for Karhu (19-11). The closest contest at Salo, where Vilpas lost by two vs Kouvot (Kouvola): 75-77 (36-41). Jukka Kataja (197-F-82) led Vilpas with his season high 23 pts. LaMarr Greer (196-G-76, college: Florida St.) made 23 pts for Kouvot. Gilberto Clavell (201-F-89, agency: KMG Sports Management, college: Sam Houston St.) had this time 22 pts.

25-year old guard Desmond Williams (199-G-91) had a great game in the last round for Salon Vilpas and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14. He had the game-high 20 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Salon Vilpas in his team's victory, helping them to beat BC Nokia (#4, 6-7) 90-83. The most surprising game was the first loss ofHelsinki Seagulls (11-1) in Uusikaupunki on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked UU-Korihait (4-8) 96-79.
