Korisliiga, round 31: This does not happen every day, not even every month; Bisons (Loimaa) lost first time this season at home court, when visitor KTP (Kotka) came and almost crushed the Bisons 79-97 (39-50). Bisons (23-7) had hardly three players in double digits, KTP (25-6) had five players over 10 points. Martin Zeno (196-G-85, college: Texas Tech) continues like earlier being again the leading scorer (24) for the Bisons. Sefton Barrett (196-SF-83, agency: Limelight Hoops, college: Cent.Michigan) (KTP) was the leading scorer (26) of this top contest. Devonne Giles (203-F-83, college: Texas Tech) had a double-double 18pts/13rbs. Antwine Williams (192-F-75, agency: Prossin Sports Management, college: N.Colorado) added 16 pts. The victory # 11 in a row for KTP.
Karhu from Kauhajoki had bad luck in the game vs YMCA Lappeenranta. Team's key player J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Cleveland St.) played only 4:41 minutes and got probably injured. That was one reason why Karhu lost the control of the game and YMCA LPR won finally by 14 pts 82-96. During the half time YMCA LPR was leading by 23 pts (32-55). Giordan Watson (178-PG-85, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Cent.Michigan) led Karhu with 27 points. Matias Ojala (197-F-89) scored his season best 21 pts. Jason Conley (196-G-81, agency: Warren Sports International, college: Missouri) netted 30 pts for YMCA LPR. Greg Logins (200-F-88, college: Canisius) had a double-double 24pts/10rbs. Team's Finnish players scored 10/96 pts.
Kataja from Joensuu (23-5) was winning game # 9 in a row. Kataja defeated Korikobrat (Lapua) 103-93 (52-46). Petri Virtanen (183-PG-80) netted his season best 30 pts (1 - 7/8, 2 - 4/5, 3 - 5/7). Jonte Flowers (196-F/G-85, agency: Warren Sports International, college: Winona St.) added 19 pts. Samuel Haanpaa (203-SG-86) led Lapua (9-22) with 27 pts (1 - 3/3, 2 - 6/10, 3 - 4/9) and 14 rbs. Dominique Coleman (190-G-84, college: Colorado) had 17 pts and gave eight assists.

Bisons - KTP 79-97 (39-50). (Martin Zeno 24, Ryan McDade 12, Kimmo Muurinen 11 - Sefton Barrett 26, Devonne Giles 18/13, Antwine Williams 16. A: 900).
Karhu - YMCA LPR 82-96 (32-55). (Giordan Watson 27, Matia Ojala 21, Ilkka Vuori 14 - Jason Conley 30, Greg Logins 24/10, Matt Gibson 18/5a. A: 615).
Kataja - Lapua 103-93 (52-46). (Petri Virtanen 30, Jonte Flowers 19, Dan Coleman 17 - Samuel Haanpaa 27/14, Dominique Coleman 1778a, Dwight Tolbert 16. A: 612).

In Division 1 A today one exiting contest, where Honka (Tapiola) defeated first time this season YMCA Oulu 65-63 (32-42). Visitors won the first quarter 10-34, but Honka won then the next three quarters. Honka (11-8) needed badly this victory and Ronnie Clark (195-F/G-81) (18pts/14rbs) arranged that to the hosts. Josh Nofflet (194-G/F-88, college: Lee) scored game high 27 pts, but got help only from Dwight Coleman (203-F/G-84, college: Dallas Baptist) (14pts/10rbs).
Honka -YMCA Oulu 65-63 (32-42). (Ronnie Clark 18/14, Jouko Jarvinen 11, Tero Laitinen 10 - Josh Nofflet 27, Dwight Coleman 14/10, Jani Siivikko 13. A: 432).
