The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

The most exciting game of round 32 in the Korisliiga took place in Kauhajoki. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Kauhajoen Karhu (19-11) to first ranked Helsinki Seagulls (21-7) 89-88 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Kauhajoen Karhu. Strangely Kauhajoen Karhu outrebounded Helsinki Seagulls 39-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (193-90, college: Santa Clara) saved the victory by scoring 21 points. The former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with 14 points and 8 assists for the winners.
