There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Korisliiga.

The most important game in the last round took place in Joensuu between third ranked Joensuun Kataja (24-10) and fourth ranked Kauhajoen Karhu (21-14) on Friday night. Joensuun Kataja was defeated by Kauhajoen Karhu at home 78-89. The game was mostly controlled by Kauhajoen Karhu. Joensuun Kataja managed to win third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kauhajoen Karhu made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Kauhajoen Karhu outrebounded Joensuun Kataja 38-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Joensuun Kataja helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American swingman Austin Hollins (195-91, college: Minnesota) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import forward DeVaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Canadian guard Daniel Mullings (188-91, college: N.Mexico St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for Joensuun Kataja. Kauhajoen Karhu maintains fourth position with 21-14 record. Joensuun Kataja at the other side dropped to the second place with ten games lost. Kauhajoen Karhu are looking forward to face Lapuan Korikobrat (#5) on the road in the next round. Joensuun Kataja will play against BC Nokia and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Salon Vilpas (27-8) which hosted in Salo second-ranked Helsinki Seagulls (24-11). First ranked Salon Vilpas managed to get a 12-point victory 81-69. American guard Desmond Williams (199-91, college: S.Connecticut) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Matias Ojala chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (193-90, college: Santa Clara) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Helsinki Seagulls' coach Mikko Larkas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Salon Vilpas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 27-8 record. Helsinki Seagulls lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with 11 games lost. Salon Vilpas will play against Kouvot (#6) in Kouvola in the next round where they are favorite. Helsinki Seagulls will play on the road against KTP-Basket in Kotka and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Tenth-ranked UU-Korihait (5-30) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Kouvot (16-19) in Kouvola on Friday. Kouvot managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected much easier game. American players dominated the game. Rakeem Buckles notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by Emmanuel Holloway did not help to save the game for UU-Korihait. Kouvot have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lapua. UU-Korihait lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 30 lost games. Kouvot will meet league's leader Salon Vilpas on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. UU-Korihait will play against Tampereen Pyrinto (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between fifth ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (16-19) and 7th ranked BC Nokia (15-20) in Lapua ended with biggest points difference. Lapuan Korikobrat outscored guests from Nokia 110-65. The best player for the winners was Jamal Jones who scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lapuan Korikobrat's coach Damion Dantzler felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lapuan Korikobrat maintains fifth position with 16-19 record, which they share with Kouvot. BC Nokia lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 20 games lost. Lapuan Korikobrat's next round opponent will be higher ranked Kauhajoen Karhu (#4) in Kauhajoki and it may be quite challenging game. BC Nokia will play at home against the league's second-placed Joensuun Kataja and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 38 KTP Basket was smashed by Kataja Basket on the road 97-66.
The most impressive performance of 38th round was 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Rion Brown of Kataja Basket.

Kataja Basket - KTP Basket 97-66

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Joensuun Kataja (24-10) crushed at home 8th ranked KTP-Basket (13-22) 97-66. The game without a history. Joensuun Kataja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Joensuun Kataja dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to KTP-Basket's 36. They outrebounded KTP-Basket 47-31 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Joensuun Kataja players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Joensuun Kataja brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) who scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Canadian guard Daniel Mullings (188-91, college: N.Mexico St.) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Joensuun Kataja players scored in double figures. American guard Daniel Bailey (196-90, college: Queens, NC) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Court Side) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Joensuun Kataja moved-up to second place. KTP-Basket at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 22 games lost. Joensuun Kataja's next round opponent will be BC Nokia (#7) on the road where they are favorite. KTP-Basket will play against Helsinki Seagulls and hope to win that game.

However their fans expected much easier game. UU-Korihait trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 25-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 81-83 at the end of the game. American players dominated the game. Forward Rakeem Buckles (203-90, college: FIU) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Raheem Appleby (190-93, college: Louisiana Tech) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Karhu Kauhajoki (Korisliiga) agreed terms with American guard Marcus Allen (191-86kg). Allen just graduated from Stanford (NCAA). He has played there for the last four years. In 35 games he had 7.5ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg last season. Quite impressive year as he was named to All-Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention and Pac-12 All-Defensive Team. Montakit Fuenlabrada (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 22-year old Finn power forward Emir Sulejmanovic (204-100kg-95). He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport.
