Salon Vilpas topped Pyrinto to sweep the quarterfinal series. Tampereen Pyrinto was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-16 charge of Salon Vilpas, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. International Mikko Koivisto (194-87, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward JNathan Bullock (196-87, college: Cleveland St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Antero Lehto (185-84) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.

Kataja overcame BC Nokia to take 2-1 lead. It looked good early as BC Nokia took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Joensuun Kataja had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and BC Nokia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-80. Joensuun Kataja forced 22 BC Nokia turnovers. It was a good game for American Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Darryl Bryant (185-90, college: W.Virginia) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American guard Javier Duren (193-93, college: Yale) answered with 19 points and forward Eldar Skamo (198-86) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BC Nokia.

Helsinki outgunned Kouvot to secure 2-1 advantage. The hosts were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 42-32 Kouvot's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 99-94 at the end of the game. Helsinki Seagulls dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kouvot's 36 and made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Helsinki Seagulls players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Kouvot was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists.
