Antibes clinch ProB title - Jun 1, 2013

Antibes - Chalons-Reims 83:73

Antibes celebrated the ProB title tonight. They held off Chalons-Reims at home court to sweep the title series. Antibes are now returning to ProA after eleven years.
Chalons-Reims however made Antibes sweat for this win. The visitors jumped to a 21:19 lead after ten minutes. They controlled the pace and tempo in the second period. Chalons-Reims arrived at halftime up by 5 points 45:40. Antibes finally managed to deny the deficit in the third term. The hosts grabbed a narrow 58:57 lead heading into the fourth frame. Chalons-Reims quickly regained the lead early in the final period 62:58. But Tim Blue (205-F-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) stepped up for the hosts in the crucial moment. He ignited a 10:0 run as Antibes grabbed a 75:68 lead. They kept Chalons-Reims at bay throughout the reminder of the contest and sealed the win at the end. Tim Blue stepped up with 23 points and 9 rebounds to pace Antibes. Trevor Huffman (185-PG-79, agency: Interperformances, college: Kent St.) added 14 points in the victory. Rodrigue Mels (188-G/F-85, agency: Three Eye Sports, college: CS Northridge) answered with 12 points for Chalons-Reims. Kevin Corre (202-C/F-85) and Bryan Mullins (185-PG-87, college: S.Illinois) chipped in 11 points each in the loss.
