Marek Zywert (181-G-96) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Grzegorz Kulka (198-PF-96) added 11. Kamil Zywert (183-PG-96) nailed 10, while Filip Pruefer (208-C-96) and Igor Wadowski (195-F-96) scored 7 apiece. Ywen Smock (201-PF-96) finished the game with 13 points for France and Etienne Ory (175-PG-96) scored 8. In the Semifinal Poland will take on Germany. The latter surprised the hosts for the Semifinal birth of the Turk Telekom International Tournament for U16 teams. The German team overcame Turkey 51:47 in the defensive encounter.

Szolnok beat Chalon to tie both records in EuroChallenge Group J. The Hungarian team celebrated 90:81 victory in Szolnok. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. After Malcolm made just one of two free-throws for Chalon, Obie Trotter (186-G-84, agency: Court Side, college: Alabama A&M) nailed a three-pointer for an 81:68 lead. Chalon chipped away at the deficit but got no closer than six the remainder of the game. The hosts were 11 of 25 from long range and Chalon five of 18. It was a very good performance for Obie Trotter who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Brandon Gay (203-F-82, agency: Edge Sports, college: San Diego) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Blake Schilb replied with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Alade Aminu (207-C/F-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Chalon/Saor.
