29-year old forward Corey Belser (200-F-82) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Charleville and receives a Eurobasket.com NM1 Player of the Week award for round 6. He had the game-high 29 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Charleville in his team's victory, helping them to crush Brest (#12, 2-4) with 16-point margin 98-82. Charleville is placed at 2nd position in NM1. They are still close to the very top. Charleville would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Belser had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Charleville's top player in his first season with the team. Corey Belser averages this season 15.3ppg and 6.8rpg.
Second best performed player last round was Gary Staelens (189-G-84) of Blois. He is former international guard in his first season at Blois. In the last game Staelens recorded impressive 30 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he lead Blois to another comfortable win 87-71 over slightly higher-ranked Roche (#3, 5-1) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Blois to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Staelens is a newcomer at Blois and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to another Blois' star - forward Ville Kaunisto (204-F-82). Kaunisto scored 12 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Blois, helping his team with a 87-71 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Roche (#3, 5-1). Blois needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Kaunisto has a great season in France. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.5rpg (#1 in league).

Hapoel Eilat (Winner League) confirmed in their roster experienced 35-year old Israeli international point guard Afik Nissim (185-81kg-81). He is a dual citizen owning also French passport. Nissim has played there for the last four seasons. In 37 Winner League games he recorded 9.4ppg, 1.3rpg and 4.0apg last season. Nissim helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Israeli League All-Star Game and to the All-Star Game 3-Point Shootout. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Israeli Premier League in 2015. Nissim was also voted Eurobasket.com Israeli League All-Domestic Players Team in 2014. He has been also a member of Israeli international program for some years. Nissim has regularly played for Israeli senior team since 2001 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2001. He represented Israel at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 two years ago. Nissim is quite experienced player. By being one of the top shot blocker wherever he played since high school, Gaston Moliva has shown his infinite shot blocking skills and proven he is a great defender. Although he is an outstanding shot blocker, it is his overall strength and agility to control the pain both offensively and defensively that is so impressive. Gaston is one of the most professional and hardworking prospects on the market. As a professional, he consistently recorded doubles doubles and his performances have led his previous team to several finals for his career as a professional, he has shown to have all the work ethics and the leadership qualities you would want in a player.However, free throws remain an area that need some improvement.
