According to French newspaper LEquipe, Lattes Montpellier got a very valuable reinforcement for the next season. Reportedly, the team penned a deal with Emilie Gomis (180-G/F-83). The French National Team forward spent last three seasons with Villeneuve. She had 16.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 3.1 apg for 23 games in the latest one. Gomis finished as fourth best scorer of the LFB. She was named Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention. That same award Gomis also got in 2010. Three years before that Emilia Gomis won the LFB title and Cup with Valenciennes. In the past, she also played for Fenerbahce, Napoli, Tarbes and CFBB. Emilie Gomis is active member of the French National Team since 2003. She had 10.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 1.7 apg for 9 games at the EuroBasket 2011 in Poland.
