Rouen officially announced signing of O'Darien Bassett (191-G-86, college: Troy) for the next season. The American guard heads to his new club from JSA Bordeaux. He appeared 26 times for them last season in ProB averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Bassett got injured in January and missed two months of action. In 2010/11 season, he was a member of Clermont collecting 13.4 ppg, 3.9 rpg and 3.6 apg in 34 games. O'Darien Bassett was top-scorer of the Romanian championship in 2009/10 season. He played for CSSU Craiova at that time registering 20.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 4.3 apg for 29 games. The player was awarded with Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention. His rookie year in Europe he spent with German Kaiserslautern. Bassett is a product of Troy University.
