France recorded the first win at the Villenueve international tournament. They toppled Brazil in the opener. Sandrine Gruda (193-C-87) came up with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side.
France earned a narrow 17:13 lead at the first break. The hosts stretched the lead in the second quarter. France accumulated a 32:24 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the third term. The hosts managed to stay in front as they built a 53:45 advantage at the final break. France held Brazil to 12 points in the final period and sealed the victory at the end. Edwige Lawson-Wade (166-PG-79) posted 11 points, while Emilie Gomis (180-G/F-83) added 10 points in the victory. Clarissa Dos Santos (186-C-88) answered with 17 points for Brazil. Adriana Pinto (169-G-78) had 12 points in the loss.

Lattes Montp. - Bourges 74-79 Bourges snatched a road win over Lattes Montpellier in the opener. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. Flammes-Bourges 65-75 Bourges clinch Cup final as they overcame Flammes 75-65. They dominated the first half and managed to seal the double-digit victory.
