Ines Ajanovic (195-F-80, agency: LBM Management) is a new member of Arras. She penned a deal for the upcoming season. Ajanovic finished last season with Italian Pool Comense. She joined them in January averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds for 17 games. The former Serbian NT player started last season with Lotos Gdynia. There she had 6.5 ppg and 3 rpg in 14 Polish league appearances. Ajanovic is not a new face in France as she already played for Latter Montpellier and Union Hainaut. Ines Ajanovic also has experience from Radivoj Korac and Hungarian Szeged. From 2005 to 2007 she played for Italian Viterbo. In 2005, Ajanovic played for the Serbian NT at the EuroBasket in Turkey. She had 3 ppg and 2.7 rpg for 7 games at this event.

France continue their winning streak and win Group C of EuroBasket 2013 with a perfect 3-0 record. The hosts of the tournament overcame Great Britain 79:47 in the last game of the First Stage. Great Britain suffered their first loss and finished the group on the second place with 2-1 record.

Great Britain suffered their first loss and finished the group on the second place with 2-1 record. Both teams entered the game undefeated, but France was the favorite of the campaign. They won the first period 22-16 and added 11-6 in the second period. Moreover the second half also belonged to France. They won the third period 23-17 and then finished the game with a 23-8 surge. Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui (190-C-86) and Valeriane Ayayi (185-F-94) stepped up with 11 points each, while Edwige Lawson-Wade (168-PG-79), Sandrine Gruda (193-C-87) and Emilie Gomis (178-G/F-83) added 10 apiece. Johannah Leedham (180-SF-87, college: Franklin Pierce) answered with 13 points in defeat and Lauren Thomas-Johnson (178-G-88, college: Marquette) netted 9. Kimberly Butler (186-PF-82, college: Oregon St.) collected 6 points and 8 rebounds in the losing effort.

Serbia suffered the second straight loss and would have to win against Latvia on the final day of the preliminary round to stay in the title race. France gave no chance to Serbia. Les Bleus were assertive right from tip off. They cleared off to a 20:8 lead after ten minutes of action. Serbia found it difficult to deliver on the offensive end as France kept on running away in the second frame. Les Bleus ensured a 38:15 halftime advantage. More to come in the third term. Les Bleus did not slow down as they gained a comfortable 30-point lead at the final intermission. Les Bleus finished off their opponents with a massive 21:7 run in the fourth frame. Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui (190-C-86) netted 10 points, while Celine Dumerc (169-G-82) added 10 for the winning side. Ana Dabovic (183-SG-89) responded with 15 points for Serbia.
