Dijon and rookie LaRon Dendy part ways after tryout - Sep 16, 2012

LaRon Dendy
LaRon Dendy (205-C-88, college: Middle Tenn.St.) will not play in France next season. The American rookie arrived to JDA Dijon on tryout recently, but he already left the club and agreed a deal with Greek Kolossos Rhodes. Meanwhile, Dijon inked T.J. Campbell (175-PG-88, college: Portland) after 1-month tryout. Dendy is a product of Middle Tennessee State University where he graduated few months ago. He shined with 14.8 ppg, 7.1 rpg and 2.1 apg for his school in 30 games as a senior. Dendy was named All-Sun Belt Player of the Year -12. Middle Tennessee State reached NIT Elite Eight this year. LaRon Dendy transferred to MTSU in 2010 from Iowa State. He was redshirted in 2010/11 due to NCAA transfer rules. With Iowa State the center had 7.3 ppg and 3.6 rpg in 24 games. As freshman LaRon Dendy played for the Indian Hills CC (JUCO). T.J. Campbell spent last season in the NBA D-League. He had 13 ppg, 5.3 apg and 3.2 rpg for 56 games with Canton Charge.

Louis Campbell (190-PG-79, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Buffalo) will remain with Strasbourg IG for another season. The American player and the team agreed terms for 2013/2014 season. Louis Campbell played in Japan for three years from year 2006. In2008-2009 for Toyota Alvark (Japan-JBL, starting five) he averaged 10.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.4apg, FGP: 47.1%, 3PT: 28.1%, FT: 83.8%. Orleans have extended Christopher Hill (191-G-83, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: Michigan St.) for the next season. The guard joined the team at the start of this season. He notched 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Previously Christopher Hill had stints with Spirou Charleroi, Liege Basket, Banvit, Stade Clermontois, Evreux.
