Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Hyeres-Toulon 88-67
The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 21 points. Pau-Lacq-Orthez dominated on the defensive end, holding Hyeres-Toulon to just 6 points in second quarter. Pau-Lacq-Orthez had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Charles Jackson (203-F-87, agency: Court Side, college: Hawaii-Pacific) (203-87, college: Hawaii-Pacific, agency: Court Side) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Brian Boddicker (204-81, college: Texas) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Charleville-Mezieres especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (ProB) tabbed 32-year old shooting guard Philippe Braud (194-85) from JL Bourg Basket. He has played there for the last five years.
