Lattes Montp. - Union Hainaut 70-54 The game was mostly controlled by Lattes Montpellier. Union Hainaut was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lattes Montpellier made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Perpignan - Toulouse 50-46 Perpignan managed to secure a 4-point victory 50-46 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Toulouse won third quarter 9-8. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Perpignan won last quarter 12-10. It was a great evening for Australian center Abby Bishop (189-88) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Helena Ciak (197-89) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Perpignan's coach Francois Gomez used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. We bring you last week's top performances from French who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. Soana Lucet (185-F-87, agency: LBM Management) led TSV 1880 Wasserburg to a victory over the league outsider TH Wohnbau Angels in the German DBBL in Sunday night's game.

#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88, agency: Comsport, currently plays in Italy). Miyem led Familia Schio to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams La Spezia (0-3) crushing them 97-54 in the Italian Serie A1 last Sunday.
She scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Famila Wuber Schio (3-0) is placed first in the Serie A1.
So far her team won all three games in the Regular Season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Miyem averages: 9.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 2FGP: 42.1% and FT: 78.6%.
Ex-Cercle Jean Mace Bourges player is currently a member of the French senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Helena Ciak (197-89, also represented by Comsport, currently plays in Russia). She contributed to a Dynamo Kursk's victory against the ninth-ranked Kazanochka (0-3) 67-61 in the Russia PBL on Wednesday night.
Ciak scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 20 minutes.
Dynamo Kursk (4-0) is placed second in the PBL.
So far her team won all four games in the Regular Season.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
Ciak is currently first on the league's list of best blockers with 2.7bpg.
This year her other stats are: 9.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 2FGP: 58.8%(10-17) and FT: 77.8% in three games she played so far.
Ciak has a dual citizenship: Polish and French.
Ex-Tango Bourges Basket player is in the roster of the French senior national team.
#3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was former U18 international forward Rudiane Eduardo (185-93, college: UTEP, currently plays in Spain). She could not help ADBA (1-2) in their last game. Despite Eduardo's very good performance the 12th-placed ADBA (1-2) was badly defeated 79-62 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#5) Barcelona in the Group A.
She was the top scorer with 16 points. Eduardo also added 4 rebounds in 35 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her first season in pro basketball. This year Eduardo's overall stats are: 9.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 35.5% in three games.
She played for the French U18 national team five years ago.
#4. Guard Margot Vidal-Geneve (165-95, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help ChemCats Chemnitz in their game against Eisvogel Freiburg (1-4) in the German DBBL.
Vidal-Geneve scored only 4 points in 31 minutes.
The league leader ChemCats Chemnitz lost 52-63 in Freiburg to the much lower-ranked (#9) Eisvogel.
Vidal-Geneve is currently seventh on the league's list of best passers with 3.8apg.
This year her other stats are: 8.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.2spg in five games.

#5. Former U19 international point guard Melanie Devaux (170-92, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents (1-3) in their game against Geneve Basket (2-2) in the Swiss LNA.
She recorded 5 points.
BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents were defeated 62-52 in Geneve by the higher-ranked Basket (#5).
It's Devaux's first season with the team.
Devaux has relatively good stats this year: 14.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5apg.
She used to play for the French U19 national team
five years ago.

#1.Soana Lucet (185-F-87, agency: LBM Management, college: Arizona, currently plays in Germany) led TSV 1880 Wasserburg to a victory over the league outsider TH Wohnbau Angels (0-5) crushing them 114-68 in the German DBBL in Sunday night's game.
She was MVP of the game. Lucet scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 9 rebounds in 31 minutes.
TSV 1880 Wasserburg (4-1) is placed fourth in the DBBL.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Lucet is currently seventh on the league's list of best rebounders with 8.0rpg.
She also averaged so far 14.8ppg and 2.0spg in four games she played so far.
#2.Pauline Diawakana (170-G-92, currently plays in Germany). She could not help one of league's weakest teams Hannover (3-2) to beat Gruner Stern Keltern (3-2).
Diawakana scored 7 points and added 3 assists.
Hannover was defeated 69-59 at home by the higher-ranked Gruner Stern Keltern (#5).
It was Hannover's first loss after three consecutive victories.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
Diawakana's overall stats this season are: 7.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg.
#3.Melisa Mendes (175-G-88, college: UTEP, currently plays in United Kingdom) contributed to a 2-point Nottingham Wildcats' victory against the closely-ranked Hatters (1-1) 87-85 in the British WBBL on Saturday night.
Mendes scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Nottingham Wildcats (2-0) is placed third in the WBBL.
It's Mendes' first season with the team.
Mendes is ranked first on the list of the most steals in the league.
She has very reliable stats this season: 10.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.5apg and 3.5spg.
#4.Magaly Meynadier (170-SG-91, currently plays in Germany) managed to help TV Saarlouis Royals in a 3-point victoryagainst the eighth-ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (2-3) 70-67 in the German DBBL in Sunday night's game.
Meynadier scored only 2 points in 18 minutes.
TV Saarlouis Royals (5-0) is placed first in the DBBL.
So far her team won all five games in the Regular Season.
This year Meynadier's total stats are: 3.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg in five games.
She has a dual citizenship: French and Luxembourg.
#5.Alexia Rol (181-F-89, currently plays in Switzerland) was the main contributor in Fribourg's victory against the seventh-ranked Winterthur (1-2) 79-61 in the Swiss LNA last Sunday.
Rol was MVP of the game. She recorded 25 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and made 2 blocks.
BCF Elfic Fribourg Basket (3-1) is placed first in the LNA.
Rol is ranked third on the list of the best blockers in the league.
She has individually a very good season with high stats. Rol averages: 16.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.5apg, 1.5bpg and 2.5spg.
She is another player who holds two passports: French and Swiss.
#6.Cyrielle Recoura (172-G-91, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Fireballs in their game against BC Pharmaserv Marburg in the German DBBL.
She scored only 4 points.
Her team was defeated 78-67.
Recoura's total stats this season are: 8.4ppg and 2.6rpg.
#7.Ekatarina Dimitrova (183-G-87, currently plays in Luxembourg) was not able to secure a victory for Basket Esch in their game against Amicale in the Luxembourg Total League. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones.
Dimitrova scored only 2 points in 30 minutes. It was her first game for Basket Esch this season.
Her team was crushed by 36 points 66-30.
Dimitrova is currently fifth on the league's list of best blockers with 1 blocks.

The 28-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds, while her team Hainaut moved-up to the 11th position in French LFB. Monroe turned to be Hainaut's top player in her first season with the team. Jacinta Monroe averages this season 12.3ppg and 6.5rpg.
The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old Senegalese Bintou Dieme-Marizy (164-PG-84) of Tarbes. Dieme-Marizy had a very good evening with 21 points. Bad luck as Tarbes lost that game 50-66 to the higher-ranked Nice (#6, 2-2). Tarbes are still at the very bottom. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Dieme-Marizy is a newcomer at Tarbes, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Carmen Guzman (172-SG-85, agency: Merit Management Group) of Lyon (#4). Guzman scored 18 points and passed seven assists. She was a key player of Lyon, leading her team to a 71-56 easy win against the lower-ranked Angers (#10, 1-3). Lyon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Guzman has a great season in France. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.3ppg (8th best).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Lauren Ervin (191-F-85) of Lyon - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Katherine Plouffe (190-F-92) of Nantes - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists 6.
