JSA Bordeaux Basket (ProB) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American forward Eric Hicks (198-109kg-83, college: Cincinnati, agency: KMG Sports Management). He played recently at Fuerza Regia in Mexican LNBP. In 10 games this season he recorded 11.8ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.0bpg. The last season Hicks also played at GreenTops Netanya (previous name Elitzur Netanya) in Israeli Winner League. In 9 games last year he averaged 9.7ppg and 6.2rpg. The last summer he played at Guangzhou in Chinese NBL. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Great season indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese NBL Honorable Mention. The other team Hicks played shortly was Leche Rio Breogan in Spanish LEB Gold. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Another team Hicks played shortly for was Anwil in Polish TBL. He contributed to his team making it to the cup final. Hicks won Belgian League championship title in 2007. He received also USBWA All-NCAA District V Team award and All-Big East 1st Team award back in 2006 at his college time. Hicks represented USA at the Gold Medal in the World University Games seven years ago. He is a very experienced player. Hicks has played also professionally in Russia (Krasnie Krilya), Ukraine (Halychyna), Belgium (Base Oostende) and Poland (KK Swiecie). He attended University of Cincinnati until 2006 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.

Orleans have extended Christopher Hill (191-G-83, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: Michigan St.) for the next season. The guard joined the team at the start of this season. He notched 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Previously Christopher Hill had stints with Spirou Charleroi, Liege Basket, Banvit, Stade Clermontois, Evreux. In 33 NM1 games he averaged 13.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg (in top 4). He helped them to win the league title. Bichard has played previously for three other France teams: Fos Ouest, Saint Vallier and Roche.
