Familia Schio closed the round with the win over Arras on Thursday night. The Italian team improved to 4-0 record on top of Group B.
Familia Schio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Arras' 26. Familia Schio forced 22 Arras turnovers and had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Arras' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Jantel Lavender (190-C-88, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and Elodie Godin (191-C-85) who added 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks during the contest. At the losing side Dawn Evans (170-PG-89, agency: LBM Management, college: JMU) responded with 14 points and Ines Ajanovic (195-F-80, agency: LBM Management) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Familia Schio have a solid four-game winning streak. Loser Arras still closes the standings with three games lost. Familia Schio will face Good Angels in Kosice in the next round. Arras will play at home against the league's second-placed Fenerbahcein Istanbul.

Avenir - Roche 58-69 Roche defeated Avenir to take 1-0 lead in LF2 Finals. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-58. Roche dominated on the defensive end, holding Avenir to just 5 points in second quarter. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration Basket (LFB) signed 30-year old German international forward Romy Baer (187-87). She has played for the last two seasons at Cavigal Nice Basket 06 in the LFB. In 28 games she had 11.4ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.4apg and 1.8spg last season. Baer also played 8 games in Eurocup where she recorded 8.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.4apg and 1.9spg.
