4th ranked Blois (6-2) fell to sixth ranked JA Vichy (6-4) in overtime by two points 73-75 on Saturday night. The game took place in Blois. But the guests from Vichy were better at the end. Worth to mention a great performance of Octavio Da Silveira (204-PF-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). JA Vichy maintains sixth position with 6-4 record. Blois at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. JA Vichy will face Angers BC 49 (#9) at home in the next round. Blois will play against Rueil (#13).

In the last game of round 10 Souffel beat Challans on the road 84-82. Chartres won against Rennes on its own court 74-64. St Chamond unfortunately lost to Quimper in a road game 77-86. Orchy managed to beat Cognac at home 82-68. La Rochelle defeated Angers BC 49 on the opponent's court 75-73.
The most impressive performance of 10th round was 28 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals by Carlos Cherry of Quimper.

Blois - Vichy 73-75 OT

4th ranked Blois (6-2) fell to sixth ranked JA Vichy (6-4) in overtime by two points 73-75 on Saturday night. The game took place in Blois. But the guests from Vichy were better at the end. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Blois won third quarter 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Blois used huge pressure winning it 18-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-9. Worth to mention a great performance of Octavio Da Silveira (204-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Belgian forward Douglas Tshomba (201-83, college: Tusculum) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Finnish forward Ville Kaunisto (205-82) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Blois. Four Blois players scored in double figures. JA Vichy maintains sixth position with 6-4 record. Blois at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. JA Vichy will face Angers BC 49 (#9) at home in the next round. Blois will play against Rueil (#13).

Vendee Challans trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 25-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-84 at the end of the game. Souffelweyersheim made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Souffelweyersheim outrebounded Vendee Challans 35-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. Vendee Challans was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for naturalized Chadian forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Frederic Minet (188-81) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Swedish center Andreas Schreiber (206-87, college: Pennsylvania, agency: Two Points) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Johan Rathieuville (177-85) added 17 points and 7 assists in the effort for Vendee Challans. Serbian forward Zeljko Bojovic (200-81) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Center Said Ben Driss (206-85) replied with 9 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese guard El Kabir Pene (190-84) added 14 points in the effort for Union Rennes. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chartres moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Union Rennes. Saint Chamond was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The game without a history. Orchesien BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Cognac's 34. Orchesien BC forced 19 Cognac turnovers. It was a very good performance for center Olivier Gouez (217-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian power forward Djordje Petrovic (204-84) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Orchesien BC's coach Philippe Namyst used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian forward Dejan Sencanski (198-84, college: Abil.Christian) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds and center Miguel Buval (208-90) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Cognac.
