Cajasol celebrated the second EuroCup win this season. The Spaniards overcame Orleans at home court to gain 2-2 record in Group H. Brian Asbury (200-SF-86, college: Miami, FL) accounted for 27 points to pace the Seville outfit.
Cajasol opened the game with seven straight points and then recorded a 23:18 lead after ten minutes. Orleans however bounced back in the second frame. Jahmar Young (196-G-86, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: N.Mexico St.) helped the French team to a 33:30 lead. They secured a 35:33 halftime advantage. Cajasol used a 7:0 run midway through the third term to take a 53:47 lead. They arrived at the final intermission up by 4 points 59:55. The hosts boosted the margin to 9 points early in the final stanza 64:55. Orleans quickly responded with a 7:0 run of their own to cut the deficit. But Cajasol hung on to the lead and escaped with a tough victory at the end. Joan Sastre Morro (201-F-91) and Luka Bogdanovic (210-F-85, agency: Beo Basket) provided 11 points each for the home team. Caleb Green (203-F-85, college: ORU) answered with 21 points for Orleans. Jahmar Young netted 18 points in the loss.

Monaco - ASVEL 67-61 Monaco rallied past ASVEL to even the semifinal series at 1-1. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Monaco made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Cholet to hire Philippe Herve - May 24, 2016

Cholet Basket (ProA) agreed on terms of contract with 53-year old coach Philippe Herve. He moved there from Limoges CSP Elite (ProA) where he played this season. Among other achievements Herve won French ProA championship title in 2015. He received also Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Coach of the Year award in 2015.
