Elan Chalon surprised the crowd with 26-24 in the first period and added 17-14 in the second frame. The French representative also scored 17 points in the third quarter but it was not enough for the victory in the frame. Maccabi needed a 20-17 rally in the third period and finished the game with 20-13 in the last stanza. David Logan (185-G-82, college: Indianapolis) scored the last point for the winning team. Devin Smith (196-G/F-83, college: Virginia) stepped up with 19 points for the winners and David Logan tossed in 17.
