Aron Baynes
Serbian forward Slobodan Ocokoljic (204-F-80, agency: TSS Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for Rueil, receiving a Eurobasket.com NM1 Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Blois (#6, 6-3) 75-65. Rueil is placed at 10th position in French NM1. Rueil is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-6 record. Ocokoljic turned to be Rueil's top player in his first season with the team. Slobodan Ocokoljic averages this season 15.6ppg and 5.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old Julien Doreau (200-F-83) of Sorgues. Doreau had a very good evening with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he lead Sorgues to another comfortable win outscoring CFBB (#16, 0-10) 97-59. This victory allowed Sorgues to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Doreau is a newcomer at Sorgues and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian forward Dejan Sencanski (198-F-84) of Cognac (#3). Sencanski scored 22 points. He was a key player of Cognac, leading his team to a 85-77 win against the lower-ranked Monaco (#11, 3-5). Cognac is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-2 record is not that bad... Sencanski has a very solid season. In 8 games in France he scored 13.4ppg. He also has FGP: 51.9% and 3PT: 46.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ryan Zamroz (192-G/F-87) of Sorgues - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Damien Inglis (203-PF-95) of CFBB - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Ian Caskill (207-C-81) of Cognac - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Jean-Stephane Rinna (205-F-83) of St Chamond - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Renaud Brocheray (202-F-80) of Orchy - 19 points and 5 rebounds
9. Travarus Bennett (202-F-79) of Monaco - 18 points and 2 rebounds
10. Cedric Bertorelle (198-G-78) of Cognac - 14 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
