Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American forward Marcus Sloan (205-103kg-82, college: TCU). He played most recently at SAV Vacallo in Swiss LNA league. In 28 games last season he recorded 10.3ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.8spg. Sloan also played at SAV Vacallo in LNA that season. In 28 games last year he averaged 10.3ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.8spg.
In 2008 (three years after he left the college) Sloan was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) in fourth round (55th overall).
The former Texas Christian University standout is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
His team made it to the LNA Semifinals for three years in a row (between 2009 and 2011).
Sloan received also Eurobasket.com Swiss LNA All-Defensive Team award in 2008,2009,2010 and 2011.
He has played also professionally in Germany (Licher Baeren), Switzerland (Fribourg, Geneve Lions and Starwings) and TPBL (Houston Blaze).
