We bring you last week's top performances from French who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Tony Parker (188-82, currently plays in NBA). He led San Antonio Spurs to a victory over the Boston Celtics (12-12) 103-88 in the NBA in Saturday night's game.
Parker was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points, 8 assists and 4 steals in 36 minutes on the court.
The San Antonio Spurs have a solid 19-8 record this season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Parker's 12th year with the team.
Parker has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 7.3apg, 2FGP: 50.9%, 3FGP: 39.3% and FT: 82.6% in the 25 games he played so far.
Parker is currently a member of the French senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Joakim Noah (211-85, college: Florida, currently plays in NBA). He was the main contributor in a Chicago Bulls' victory against the Philadelphia 76ers (12-13) 96-89 in the NBA last Wednesday.
Noah was the best player in that game. He recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and made 3 blocks (made all of his seven free throws).
The Chicago Bulls have 14-10 record this season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Noah is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Bulls' roster.
Noah is currently seventh on the list of best rebounders.
This season he has very high stats. Noah averages: 13.6ppg, 10.6rpg, 4.5apg, 2.3bpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 48.8% and FT: 80.8%.
He is a naturalized American.
Noah played for the French national team in 2011.
Strangely he has never played in France.
#3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Fabien Causeur (193-87, currently plays in Euroleague). Causeur contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Cedevita crushing them 97-70 in the Euroleague on Friday night.
He was the top player that evening. Causeur recorded 23 points and added 4 passes in 21 minutes.
Caja Laboral Vitoriais placed fourth in group F.
It's Causeur's first season with the team.
This year his overall stats are: 6.1ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.4apg, 3FGP: 47.1%(8-17) in the 10 games.
Causeur is also a member of the French senior national team.
#4. Small forward Nicolas Batum (203-88, currently plays in NBA) contributed to a 1-point Portland Trail Blazers' victory against the New Orleans Hornets (5-19) 95-94 in the NBA in Sunday night's game.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and making 10 passes. Batum also added 5 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 steals.
The Portland Trail Blazers have 11-12 record this season.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
This season Batum has very high stats. He averages: 15.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.7apg, 1.2bpg and 1.7spg.
Batum is also French national team player.
#5. International shooting guard Nando De Colo (196-87, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tony Parker. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention.
De Colo, who plays in the NBA could not help the San Antonio Spurs (19-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance the San Antonio Spurs lost 93-107 on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
De Colo was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 6 passes in 23 minutes.
This year De Colo's total stats are: 4.0ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.9apg in the 22 games.
He plays currently for the French national team.
#6. Forward Joffrey Lauvergne (210-91, currently plays in Eurocup) was the major contributor in a Valencia Basket's victory against the closely-ranked Azovmash crushing them 93-68 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night.
Lauvergne scored 19 points.
Valencia Basketis placed fourth in group J.
Lauvergne has relatively good stats this season: 11.0ppg and 3.0rpg.
He is U20 international player as he played for the French team one years ago.
#7. U20 international guard Leo Westermann (198-92, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Partizan in their game against Brose Baskets Bamberg (0-0) in the Euroleague, despite his very good performance in Thursday night's game.
Westermann was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 39 minutes.
But the fifth-placed Partizan was edged in an overtime 92-90 in Bamberg by the lower-ranked (#5) Brose Baskets in the group _ of Euroleague.
Westermann has averaged so far 9.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 4.1apg in the nine games.
He is also French U20 national team player.
#8. Power forward Ian Mahinmi (206-86, currently plays in NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Indiana Pacers (13-12) in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks (13-10) in the NBA. Despite his very good performance last Tuesday Mahinmi recorded 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
Mahinmi has averaged so far 5.0ppg and 3.7rpg.
He used to play for the French national team
last year.
#9. International center Kevin Seraphin (206-89, currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the Washington Wizards (3-19) in their game against the Los Angeles Lakers (12-14) in the NBA, despite his very good performance on Friday night.
Seraphin scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 37 minutes.
But the Washington Wizards lost 96-102 in Los Angeles to the Lakers.
It was Wizards' fourth consecutive loss in a row.
Seraphin has very impressive stats this year: 11.2ppg and 5.9rpg in the 21 games.
He is also in the roster of the French national team.
#10. Power forward Boris Diaw (203-82, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tony Parker. However that was another game of his team in NBA which brought him to that list.
Diaw couldn't help the San Antonio Spurs (19-8) in their game against the Denver Nuggets (14-12).
He recorded only 4 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks.
The San Antonio Spurs were defeated 112-106 in Denver by the Nuggets.
Diaw has averaged so far 5.6ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.5apg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior French National Team roster.
#11. Former U20 international forward Aaron Cel (203-87, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a 3-point PGE Turow's victory against the league outsider Rosa Radom 79-76 in the Polish TBL last Saturday.
Cel scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes.
Cel belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #5 with 8.1rpg.
This year he also averages: 12.3ppg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in the 12 games.
Cel used to play for the French U20 national team
five years ago.
#12. Former U20 international guard Thomas Heurtel (188-89, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Fabien Causeur. But that was another game of his team in Spanish ACB we would like to talk about.
Heurtel contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Blancos de Rueda crushing them 93-71.
He recorded 6 points and added 5 assists.
Heurtel has averaged so far 3.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.5apg.
He used to play for the French U20 national team
back in 2009.
#13. Former international power forward Adrien Moerman (203-88, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked UCAM Murcia crushing them 98-75 in the Spanish ACB in Wednesday night's game.
Moerman recorded 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 19 minutes.
He has averaged so far 5.8ppg and 2.6rpg in the 10 games.
Moerman used to play for the French national team
two years ago.
#14. International center Ronny Turiaf (208-83, agency: Priority Sports, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Los Angeles Clippers to win against the Milwaukee Bucks crushing them 111-85 in the NBA last Saturday.
He recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Turiaf has averaged so far 1.8ppg and 2.4rpg.
He plays currently for the French national team.
#15. International shooting guard Evan Fournier (199-92, currently plays in NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Sacramento Kings crushing them 122-97 in the NBA on Sunday night.
Fournier scored 7 points in only 12 minutes.
This year he averages only 3.9ppg in the eight games.
Fournier used to play for the French national team
last year.

#1.Kim Tillie (210-F-88, agency: Priority Sports, college: Utah, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB could not help UCAM Murcia (24-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance his team was crushed 98-75 on the road by the lower-ranked Gescrap BB (#5).
Tillie was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 6 rebounds.
Tillie has averaged so far 8.1ppg and 4.1rpg.
He has a dual citizenship: Dutch and French.
#2.Elishay Kadir (202-PF-87, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Eurocup) contributed to a Hapoel J-M's victory against the closely-ranked CEZ Nymburk 82-74 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game.
Kadir scored 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 22 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Migdal Jerusalemis placed third in the Eurocup.
Kadir has averaged so far 8.0ppg and 4.8rpg in the six games he played so far.
He is another player who holds two passports: French and Israeli.
#3.Mari Konate (203-F-88, college: McNeese St., currently plays in Baltic League) led his Lithuanian team Naglis Palangos to a victory against the sixth-ranked Rapla (1-9) 93-86 in the Baltic League in Friday night's game.
Konate recorded 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Naglis Palangos (5-5) is placed third in group A.
The Regular Season already ended in the Baltic League.
Konate has averaged so far 8.6ppg and 6.0rpg.
#4.Alfredo Ott (193-G-83, college: Dillard, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in a Palencia Baloncesto's victory against the closely-ranked Leche Rio Breogan (6-5) 77-67 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday.
He scored 14 points and had 4 steals in 24 minutes.
Palencia Baloncesto (7-4) is placed fourth in the LEB Gold.
Ott has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.5spg in the 11 games.
He is a naturalized American.
Apparently Ott has never played in France.
#5.Mikael Maruotto (203-F/G-91, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Geneve Lions (9-3) in their game against SAV Vacallo (9-3) in the Swiss LNA. Despite his very good performance on Sunday night He was the second best scorer with 17 points.
Maruotto has averaged so far 8.0ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.5apg.
He has both French and Swiss nationalities.
#6. Experienced David Fergerson (185-G-78, agency: Interperformances, college: St.Louis, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Lugano Tigers in their game against SAM Massagno in the Swiss LNA, despite his very good performance in Friday night's game.
Fergerson was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added made 3 passes and 3 steals in 33 minutes.
But his team lost 69-77.
Fergerson has averaged so far 6.8ppg, 1.3rpg, 2.9apg and 1.4spg in the nine games.
He is a naturalized American.
Fergerson used to play for Reims Champagne Basket in French league.
#7.Boris Meno (203-F-83, agency: Two Points, college: Davidson, currently plays in Czech Republic) couldn't help USK Praha in their game against Basketbal Svitavy in the Czech Republic NBL. Despite his very good performance last Saturday He recorded 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Meno is currently fifth on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (second place).
He has individually a very good season with high stats. Meno averages: 17.3ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1bpg.
He also holds two passports: Congolese and French.
#8.Roy Samaha (205-F/C-84, currently plays in Lebanon) couldn't help Al Moutahed in their game against Al Riyadi in the Lebanese Division A.
Samaha recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
His team was crushed by 37 points 109-72.
He has averaged so far 8.1ppg and 4.3rpg.
Samaha has dual citizenship: French and Lebanese.
#9.John Wilkins (206-G-89, currently plays college basketball in the States) helped Illinois St. win their game against the Morgan State University 87-68 in the NCAA in Sunday night's game.
He scored 7 points in 19 minutes.
Wilkins has averaged so far 8.1ppg and 4.3rpg in the seven games.
He is a naturalized American.
Apparently Wilkins has never played in France.
#10.Bandja Sy (203-F, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the N.Mexico St. in their game against the University of New Mexico in the NCAA.
He recorded 5 points.
His team was defeated 73-58.
Sy has averaged so far 8.1ppg and 4.3rpg.
He holds both Mali and French passports.

In 33 NM1 games he averaged 13.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg (in top 4). He helped them to win the league title. Bichard has played previously for three other France teams: Fos Ouest, Saint Vallier and Roche.
