Dynamo Moscow are on the verge of reaching EuroCup semifinal stage following a comfortable home win over Lattes Montpellier. Kristi Toliver (170-PG-87, college: Maryland) dropped 18 points and issued 6 assists to lead Dynamo to a 22-point success at home court tonight.
Dynamo led by just a single point after ten minutes of action 13:12. Robert put Montpellier in front 14:13 at the start of the second term. However Dynamo used a 13:0 run midway through the period to gain a 32:16 lead. Dynamo established a 35:20 halftime advantage. The margin grew at 18-point mark in the third term. Montpellier were able to cut the deficit at 14-point mark but Grishaeva, Kristi Toliver and Abrosimova sealed a confident 22-point victory for the home side. Crystal Langhorne (188-F/C-86, college: Maryland) finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Tatiana Vidmer (191-C-86) chipped in 13 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in the victory. Gaelle Skrela (178-G-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) and Fatimatou Sacko (177-F-85) had 10 points apiece in the loss.

Avenir - Roche 58-69 Roche defeated Avenir to take 1-0 lead in LF2 Finals. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-58. Roche dominated on the defensive end, holding Avenir to just 5 points in second quarter. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration Basket (LFB) signed 30-year old German international forward Romy Baer (187-87). She has played for the last two seasons at Cavigal Nice Basket 06 in the LFB. In 28 games she had 11.4ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.4apg and 1.8spg last season. Baer also played 8 games in Eurocup where she recorded 8.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.4apg and 1.9spg.
