Wilbert
Brown
28-year old power forward Wilbert Brown (200-PF-84, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) had a great game in the last round for Maurienne and receives a Eurobasket.com ProB Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had the game-high 37 points adding three rebounds for Maurienne in his team's victory, helping them to crush St Vallier (#14, 7-12) with 17-point margin 98-81. Maurienne is placed at 7th position in French ProB. Maurienne is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-9 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Maurienne and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Niagara University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.4ppg. Brown is in league's top in and averages solid 50.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tafari Toney (203-C/F-86) of Charleville. He is American-British in his second season at Charleville. In the last game Toney recorded impressive double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Charleville lost that overtime game 93-99 to slightly higher-ranked Hyeres-Toulon (#15, 7-12). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Charleville keeps 17th position. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Charleville managed to get this year. Toney is well-known at Charleville and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Moses Sonko (197-F-83, agency: Two Points) of Bourg (#10). Sonko got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Bourg, leading his team to a 93-77 easy win against the lower-ranked Bordeaux (#18, 2-17). Bourg needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 9 lost games. Sonko has a very solid season. In 16 games in France he scored 15.9ppg. He also has 6.3rpg and FGP: 50.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. James Mathis (200-F/C-84) of Nantes - 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Rasheed Wright (196-F/G-80) of Hyeres-Toulon - 30 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Jeremiah Wood (200-C/F-85) of Evreux - 25 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Jonathan Rousselle (188-PG-90) of Boulogne - 25 points and 3 rebounds
8. Tai Wesley (200-F-86) of Rouen - 17 points and 10 rebounds
9. Abdoulaye Loum (210-F-91) of Boulogne - 24 points and 8 rebounds
10. Justin Burrell (206-F-88) of Chalons-Reims - 18 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
