Brandon
Hunter
Entente Orleans 45 (ProA) added to their roster 33-year old American forward Brandon Hunter (201-125kg-80, college: Ohio). He just played at Galil Gilboa in Israeli Winner League. In 14 games this season he had 9.2ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg. The last season Hunter played at BBC Bayreuth (BBL) in German league. In 28 games last year he recorded 9.6ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1apg.
The previous (10-11) season he played at BK Ventspils (LBL) in Latvian league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Hunter was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 18 LBL games that season he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Eurobasket.com Latvian League All-Imports Team and 2nd Team. Hunter also played 3 games in EuroChallenge where he recorded 11.7ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.3apg. He also played 4 games in Baltic League where he recorded 12.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.3apg. Hunter also played at Aliaga Petkim (TBL) in Turkish league earlier that season. In 19 games he recorded 10.9ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4apg.
In 2003 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (56th overall). Hunter attended Ohio University and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
His team won Israeli Cup in 2010.
Hunter is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Greece (Panathinaikos), Italy (Livorno, Napoli and Sutor Montegranaro), Puerto Rico (Capitanes).
On Hunter: An incredibly strong player who plays with great skill as well as heart. One of the top players in Italy A-1 basketball and a veteran of the NBA, Brandon is an excellent finisher and imposing force around the basket on both ends of the floor.
