Here is the weekly review of the top performing French players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Tony Parker (188-82, currently plays in NBA). He led San Antonio Spurs to a victory over the Phoenix Suns (15-30) 108-99 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. Parker was MVP of the game. He scored 31 points (!!!), had 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 33 minutes on the court. The San Antonio Spurs have quite an impressive 36-11 record this season. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. It's Parker's 12th year with the team. Parker has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 20.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.5apg, 2FGP: 54.0%, 3FGP: 37.7% and FT: 81.2% in the 45 games he played so far. Parker is currently a member of the French senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Nicolas Batum (203-88, currently plays in NBA). He was the main contributor in a 1-point Portland Trail Blazers' victory against the Los Angeles Clippers (33-13) 101-100 in the NBA last Saturday. Batum was the best player in that game. He recorded a triple-double by scoring 20 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and passing 12 assists. The Portland Trail Blazers have 23-22 record this season. This year Batum has very high stats. He averages: 16.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 4.9apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 49.4%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 85.3%. Batum is in the roster of the French senior national team.

   #3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Joakim Noah (211-85, college: Florida, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to a Chicago Bulls' victory against the Charlotte Bobcats (11-33) 93-85 in the NBA on Monday night. Noah had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 18 rebounds. He also added 7 assists and 5 blocks in 45 minutes. The Chicago Bulls have a solid 27-17 record this season. Noah is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Bulls' roster. Noah is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 11.3rpg. This year his other stats are: 12.1ppg, 4.2apg, 2.2bpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 46.2% and FT: 75.4% in the 43 games. Noah is a naturalized American. He played for the French national team two years ago. Strangely Noah has never played in France.

   #4. Point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (186-88, agency: Court Side, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Dallas Mavericks (19-26) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the Dallas Mavericks were defeated 113-107 on the road by the San Antonio Spurs. Beaubois was the top scorer with 19 points. Beaubois' overall stats this season are: 3.6ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.8apg. He used to play for the French national team back in 2011.

He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes. His team were badly defeated by 20 points 100-80 in the NBA. This year Mahinmi's total stats are: 5.4ppg and 3.9rpg in the 45 games. He used to play for the French national team two years ago.

   #12. Former international power forward Adrien Moerman (203-88, currently plays in Eurocup) helped his Spanish team Gescrap BB edge the closely-ranked Valencia Basket 61-60 in the Eurocup on Tuesday night. Former U20 international guard Thomas Heurtel (188-89, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Caja Laboral Vitoria in a victory against the 13th-ranked Cajasol 86-82 in the Spanish ACB on Saturday night. He recorded only 3 points and added 6 assists in 17 minutes. Heurtel has averaged so far 3.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.3apg in the 19 games. He used to play for the French U20 national team four years ago.

Afik Nissim (186-PG-81, currently plays in Israel) led Hapoel Eilat to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Galil Gilboa (5-10) 79-66 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. Nissim scored 14 points and added 3 assists. Hapoel Eilat (10-5) is placed second in the Winner League. Nissim has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.4apg and 1.4spg. He has a dual citizenship: French and Israeli.

   #2. Mari Konate (203-F-88, college: McNeese St., currently plays in Lithuania), who plays in the Lithuanian LKL could not help the league outsider Naglis Palangos (0-13) in their last game. Despite Konate's good performance the bottom-ranked Naglis Palangos was crushed 87-52 at home by the higher-ranked (#8) Lietuvos rytas. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds. Konate also added 2 blocks in 24 minutes. So far Naglis Palangos lost all thirteen games in the Regular Season. Konate has averaged so far 6.7ppg and 5.4rpg in the seven games he played so far.

   #3. John Wilkins (206-G-89, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to help the Illinois St. (2-7) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance the Illinois St. was defeated 83-77 on the road by the Bradley University. Wilkins scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Wilkins has averaged so far 6.7ppg and 5.4rpg. He is a naturalized American. Apparently Wilkins has never played in France.

   #4. Bandja Sy (203-F, currently studies in the States) contributed to a N.Mexico St.'s victory against the Denver University (7-2) 53-42 in the NCAA on Wednesday night. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 40 minutes. The New Mexico State University has a very good 7-2 conference record this season. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Sy has been at the team for four years. Sy has averaged so far 6.7ppg and 5.4rpg in the seven games. He is another player who holds two passports: Mali and French.

   #5. Alfredo Ott (193-G-83, college: Dillard, currently plays in Spain) helped Palencia Baloncesto win their game against the tenth-ranked Planasa NV (7-9) 86-80 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Ott recorded 12 points in 29 minutes. Palencia Baloncesto (10-6) is placed fourth in the LEB Gold. Ott has averaged so far 9.6ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.4spg in the 16 games. He is a naturalized American. Apparently Ott has never played in France.

   #6. Roy Samaha (205-F/C-84, currently plays in Lebanon) managed to help Al Moutahed Tripoli to win against the closely-ranked Amchit 89-76 in the Lebanese Division A on Sunday night. He scored only 4 points, grabbed 7 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 2 shots. Samaha has averaged so far 8.7ppg and 5.2rpg. He has both French and Lebanese nationalities.

   #7. Mohamed Kone (211-C-81, college: Valparaiso, currently plays in Iran) helped Foolad Mahan win their game against the league outsider Naft Sepahan crushing them 102-78 in the Iranian Superleague in Thursday night's game. Kone recorded 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in only 14 minutes. Kone has averaged so far 5.0ppg and 5.0rpg in the three games. He also holds two passports: Ivorian and French.

   #8. Boris Meno (203-F-83, agency: Two Points, college: Davidson, currently plays in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic NBL was not able to secure a victory for USK Praha (19-1) in their last game. Despite Meno's good performance the league leader USK Praha was crushed 89-59 on their home court in Praha by the lower-ranked (#3) BK Pardubice. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 28 minutes. Meno is currently eighth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (third place). Yoni Deri (178-PG-87, currently plays in Israel) helped Ironi Nahariya win their game against the ninth-ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba crushing them 99-72 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Wednesday. Feurs Enfants du Forez (NM2) signed 24-year old domestic power forward Aurelien Patey (201-92). He played last season at Nord Ardeche (NM2). Saint-Priest adds Heili to their roster - May 27, 2016

AL Saint-Priest (NM3) added to their roster 23-year old French center Stanislas Heili (216-109kg-93). He just graduated from Lindenwood (NCAA2). In 32 games he recorded 8.8ppg, 7.6rpg and 2.6bpg last season. As mentioned above Heili is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro. He was voted to MIAA All-Defensive Team in 2016. Heili has played previously for another French team ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket.
