Here is the weekly review of the top performing French players, who play currently abroad.

Sandrine Gruda
Sandrine Gruda
#1. This week's number one is an international center Sandrine Gruda (193-87, currently plays in Euroleague). She led her Russian team UMMC Ekaterinburg to a victory over the fourth-ranked Mondeville (5-6) crushing them 79-58 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. Gruda was MVP of the game. She scored 20 points in 29 minutes on the court. UMMC Ekaterinburg (10-1) is placed first in group C. It was her team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Gruda's sixth season with the team. Gruda has relatively good stats this year: 15.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 2FGP: 55.6%(69-124) and FT: 67.5% in the 11 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the French senior national team.

Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui
Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui
#2. Second place goes to an international center Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui (190-86, currently plays in Russia). Yacoubou-Dehoui contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Dynamo Moscow (9-3) 87-71 in the Russian PBL last Sunday. She recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 12 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (8-3) is placed third in the PBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Yacoubou-Dehoui's first season with the team. This year Yacoubou-Dehoui has relatively solid stats: 11.7ppg, 6.3rpg, 2FGP: 56.5%(39-69) and FT: 81.3%. She is in the roster of the French senior national team.

Elodie Godin
Elodie Godin
#3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Elodie Godin (191-85, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Italy. Godin could not help Familia Schio (7-4) to beat Good Angels (9-2). She scored 6 points, had 7 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 2 shots in 31 minutes. The third-placed Familia Schio lost 67-78 at home to the leading Good Angels in the group B of Euroleague. Godin's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Godin belongs to league's best rebounders (ranked #6) and also on the list of best blockers (second place). This year her overall stats are: 6.1ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.2apg, 1.5bpg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 36.1% and FT: 75.0% in the 11 games. Godin is also a member of the French senior national team.

Nicole Antibe
Nicole Antibe
#4. An experienced power forward Nicole Antibe (187-74, currently plays in Italy) was the main contributor in Taranto's victory against the seventh-ranked Priolo (4-9) 63-47 in the Italian A1 in Sunday night's game. She was the best player in that game. Antibe scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Goldbet Taranto (9-3) is placed third in the A1. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This season Antibe averages: 9.9ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2spg. She used to play for the French national team back in 2005.

Anael Lardy
Anael Lardy
#5. International guard Anael Lardy (170-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help USK Praha (4-7) in their game against CCC Polkowice (6-6) in the Euroleague. Lardy recorded 7 points and had 3 steals in 27 minutes. USK Praha (#5) lost 60-71 on their home court in Praha to the higher-ranked (#3) CCC Polkowice in the group C of Euroleague. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This year Lardy's total stats are: 3.2ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.1apg in the 10 games. She plays currently for the French national team.

Jessica Clemencon
Jessica Clemencon
#6. Forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89, currently plays in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the McMaster (7-8) 74-56 in the Canadian university league CIS on Wednesday night. Clemencon was the top player that evening. She scored 21 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The University of Windsor has a very good 12-3 record this season. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Clemencon is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her fourth year in University of Windsor's roster. Clemencon is currently second on the list of best blockers. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Clemencon averages: 17.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.8bpg and 1.7spg. She is a former U20 international player as she played for the French team four years ago.

The list of other players, who all have French passport but never been selected to any of French national teams:

#1. Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-C-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Liberty, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) could not help Valmadrera (6-12) in their last game. Despite Piotrkiewicz's good performance Valmadrera (#11) lost 52-64 on the road to the lower-ranked (#13) Cremona in the North group. She had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Piotrkiewicz is ranked third on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 10.4rpg. She also averaged so far 10.7ppg in the 18 games she played so far. Piotrkiewicz has a dual citizenship: Polish and French. Despite her French passport, Piotrkiewicz previously played for the Polish university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the French team.

#2. Elina Conduche (SF-92, currently plays in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the Bishop's (4-14) 60-43 in the Canadian university league CIS last Wednesday. She scored 7 points. The Universite de Quebec a Montral has a solid 7-4 record this season. Conduche has averaged so far 2.0ppg and 1.5rpg.

#3. Cyrielle Recoura (172-G-91, currently plays in Canada) was not able to help the York University (5-10) in their game against the Ottawa (12-4) in the Canadian CIS. She recorded 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. The York University (#6) lost 53-66 on the opponent's court to the Ottawa. It was York University's third consecutive loss in a row. Recoura has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 15.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg in the 15 games.

#4. Juliette Delaune (177-F-91, currently plays in Canada) is a teammate of previously mentioned Elina Conduche and both played together in the last Canadian CIS game. Delaune managed to help Universite de Quebec a Montral to win against the Bishop's (12-4) 60-43. She scored only 3 points. Delaune has averaged so far 3.4ppg and 2.3rpg.

#5. Lucie Berthelin (175-G-93, currently plays in Finland) contributed to TuRi's victory against the closely-ranked Aanekosken (6-10) 73-65 in the Finnish SM-sarja last Sunday. She scored only 4 points in 13 minutes. Turun Riento Turku (6-15) is placed ninth in the SM-sarja. It was her team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Berthelin has averaged so far 2.9ppg and 2.5rpg in the eight games.
