Corey Raji
24-year old forward Corey Raji (198-F-88, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) had a great game in the last round for Quimper and receives a Eurobasket.com NM1 Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Chartres (#11, 7-10) with 18-point margin 79-61. Quimper maintains the 4th position in French NM1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Quimper will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. In the team's last game Raji had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Quimper's top player in his first season with the team. Boston College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Raji is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 60.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Quincy Hankins-Cole (203-PF-90) of Sorgues. He is American forward in his first season at Sorgues. In the last game Hankins-Cole recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Sorgues to edge the higher-ranked Orchy (#2, 12-4) in overtime by 4 points 119-115. Sorgues' 10th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hankins-Cole is a newcomer at Sorgues and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Amy M'Boma (199-F/G-83) of La Rochelle (#6). M'Boma scored 22 points and passed four assists. He was a key player of La Rochelle, leading his team to a 76-65 win against slightly lower-ranked Rueil (#8, 9-8). La Rochelle needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 7 lost games. M'Boma has a very solid season. In 14 games in France he scored 11.0ppg. Amy M'Boma has also French passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ryan Zamroz (192-G/F-87) of Sorgues - 28 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Djordje Petrovic (204-F/C-84) of Orchy - 28 points and 6 rebounds
6. Romain Hillotte (197-G-91) of Cognac - 13 points and 12 rebounds
7. Jeremy Tschamber (192-G-84) of Souffel - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Daviin Davis (193-F-85) of Blois - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Russell Carter (196-G-85) of Orchy - 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Rida El Amrani (180-PG-86) of Vichy - 15 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
