We bring you last week's top performances from French who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Sandrine Gruda (193-87, currently plays in Russia). She led UMMC Ekaterinburg to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Spartak Noginsk (2-9) crushing them 78-52 in the Russian PBL in Saturday night's game. Gruda was MVP of the game. She recorded 18 points and added 3 assists (made all of her eight free throws) in 26 minutes on the court. UMMC Ekaterinburg (11-1) is placed first in the PBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Gruda's sixth season with the team. Gruda is currently eighth on the league's list of top scorers with 13.7ppg. She also averaged so far 6.1rpg, 2FGP: 51.9% and FT: 70.7% in the 11 games she played so far. Gruda is currently a member of the French senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Elodie Godin (191-85, currently plays in Italy). She contributed to a 3-point Familia Schio's victory against the closely-ranked Taranto (9-4) 74-71 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. Godin recorded 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Famila Wuber Schio (12-1) is placed first in the A1. It was her team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. It's Godin's first season with the team. Godin is currently first on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (fourth place). This season she averages: 7.7ppg, 10.5rpg, 1.2apg, 1.2bpg, 3.0spg, 2FGP: 38.7% and FT: 82.4%. Godin is in the roster of the French senior national team.

   #3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui (190-86, currently plays in Euroleague). She contributed to a Spartak Vidnoye's victory against the fourth-ranked Rivas Ecopolis (6-6) 72-61 in the Euroleague on Wednesday night. Yacoubou-Dehoui scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (10-2) is placed first in group A. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. This year Yacoubou-Dehoui's overall stats are: 9.8ppg, 6.5rpg, 2FGP: 54.0% and FT: 59.0% in the 12 games. She is also a member of the French senior national team.

Guard Anael Lardy (170-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Czech Republic) helped USK Praha win their game against the seventh-ranked Valosun Brno (10-10) crushing them 117-55 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Saturday night's game. Lardy scored 9 points. ZVVZ USK Praha (20-1) is placed first in the ZBL. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Lardy is currently sixth on the list of best passers. Her total stats this season are: 5.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg. Lardy is also French national team player.

Former U20 international forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89, currently plays in Canada) was the main contributor in an University of Windsor's victory against the Brock (6-11) crushing them 79-53 in the Canadian university league CIS last Saturday. She was the best player in that game. Clemencon recorded 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 32 minutes. The University of Windsor has a very solid 14-3 record this season. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Clemencon is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her fourth year in University of Windsor's roster. She is currently fourth on the list of best blockers with 1.8bpg. This year Clemencon also averages: 17.8ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5spg in the 17 games. She used to play for the French U20 national team four years ago.

Guard Audrey Salvi (172-89, currently plays in Belgium) helped Belfius Namur win their game against one of league's weakest teams Blue Cats (2-14) crushing them 74-53 in the Belgian Division I on Saturday night. Salvi scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Belfius Namur Capitale (14-2) is placed second in the Division I. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Salvi's total stats this season are: 8.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.8apg. She is a former U20 international player as she played for the French team four years ago.

Antibe, who plays in the Italian A1 could not help Taranto (9-4) to beat Familia Schio (12-1). She recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. Taranto was edged 74-71 on the road by the leading Familia Schio. They ended the series of five consecutive victories. This year Antibe's total stats are: 9.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1spg in the 14 games. She used to play for the French national team eight years ago.

   #8. Point guard Onayssa Sbahi (168-93, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Cortegada (11-1) in their game against Al-Qazeres (9-3) in the Spanish LF2 (12th division). Sbahi scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. But the first-placed Cortegada was defeated 65-57 at home by the lower-ranked Al-Qazeres (#3) in the Group A. It was Cortegada's first loss after eleven consecutive victories. Sbahi has averaged so far 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.4apg. She used to play for the French U18 national team back in 2011.

Former U20 international forward Chloe Westelynck (188-91, currently plays in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Division I was not able to secure a victory for R.Spirou Monceau (5-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance R.Spirou Monceau was defeated 76-67 in Boom by the leading BBC Kangoeroes-. Westelynck scored 12 points and blocked 2 blocks. Westelynck is currently fourth on the list of best blockers. She has averaged so far 8.4ppg and 5.1rpg. Westelynck used to play for the French U20 national team two years ago.

   #10. Point guard Lucie Bouthors (174-88, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Antakya (7-9) in their game against Fenerbahce (15-1) in the Turkish TKBL. She cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Bouthors recorded only 2 points in 13 minutes. Antakya lost 57-72 in Istanbul to the leading Fenerbahce. It was Antakya's third consecutive loss in a row. Bouthors has averaged so far 3.7ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.4apg in the 15 games. She is a former U20 international player as five years ago she still played for the French national team.

   #1. Valerie Labbe (181-G/F-88, currently plays in Belgium) led Castors Braine to a victory against the closely-ranked Declercq Stortbeton (10-9) 79-69 in the Belgian Division I last Saturday. Labbe scored 11 points and added 4 assists. Castors Braine (10-7) is placed sixth in the Division I. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Labbe has averaged so far 9.7ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg.

   #2. Cyrielle Recoura (172-G-91, currently plays in Canada) led York University to a victory over the Ryerson (14-2) 70-61 in a derby game in the Canadian university league CIS on Friday night. She was the top player that evening. Recoura scored 21 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 37 minutes. The York University has 6-11 record this season. It was her team's first victory after four consecutive loses. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Recoura has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 15.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg in the 17 games she played so far.

   #3. Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-C-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Liberty, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) could not help Valmadrera (6-13) to beat Broni (9-10). Piotrkiewicz scored 8 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 32 minutes. Valmadrera (#11) lost 72-76 at home to the higher-ranked (#7) Broni in the North group. It was Valmadrera's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Piotrkiewicz is currently fifth on the list of best rebounders with 10.1rpg. This year she also averages: 10.5ppg in the 19 games. Piotrkiewicz has a dual citizenship: Polish and French. Despite her French passport, Piotrkiewicz previously played for the Polish university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the French team.

   #4. Elina Conduche (SF-92, currently plays in Canada) managed to help Universite de Quebec a Montral to win against the Bishop's (8-4) 65-54 in the Canadian CIS last Saturday. Conduche recorded only 4 points. The Universite de Quebec a Montral has a solid 8-4 record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Conduche has averaged so far 2.2ppg and 1.5rpg.

   #5. Magaly Meynadier (17-SG-91, currently plays in Luxembourg) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked T71 Dudelange (6-9) crushing them 93-68 in the Luxembourg Diekirch League on Sunday night. She recorded 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 26 minutes. Musel Pikes (14-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. Meynadier has been at the team for seven years. Meynadier has relatively good stats this season: 12.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg in the 15 games. She is another player who holds two passports: French and Luxembourg.

24-year old forward Katherine Plouffe (190-F-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for Nantes and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 21. She had a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Nice (#9, 9-12) 80-71. Nantes is placed at 7th position in French LFB. DR Congolese Center Bernadette Ngoyisa (195-C-82) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Roche, receiving a Eurobasket.com LF2 Player of the Week award for round 22. The 34-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while her team beat Roannais (#11, 6-16) 63-49. Roche maintains the 2nd position in French LF2.
