Anthony
Christophe
29-year old guard Anthony Christophe (190-G-83) put on an amazing game in the last round for Monaco and receives a Eurobasket.com NM1 Player of the Week award for round 22.
He recorded a triple-double of 13 points addeding also 10 rebounds and 16 assists, while his team beat Rennes (#15, 4-16) 80-75. Monaco is placed at 7th position in French NM1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Monaco will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Christophe as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Christophe has impressive league stats. He is league's best passer with 7.6apg. Christophe is in league's top in and averages solid 61.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Alex Okafor (202-F-87) of Rennes. He is American forward in his first season at Rennes. In the last game Okafor recorded impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Rennes lost that game 75-80 to the higher-ranked Monaco (#7, 10-8). Rennes is still in a red zone at 15th spot in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Rennes managed to get this year. Okafor is one of the most experienced players at Rennes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward SyPir Traore (204-F-85) of Angers BC 49 (#12). Traore showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Angers BC 49, leading his team to a 84-83 win against the higher-ranked Sorgues (#8, 10-9). The chances of Angers BC 49 not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 12 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Traore could try to bring Angers BC 49's a little bit higher in the standings. Traore has a very solid season. In 18 games in France he scored 10.4ppg. He also has 6.3rpg, 1.1bpg and FGP: 64.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anthony Hill (204-F-88) of Angers BC 49 - 20 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Arnaud Thinon (178-PG-87) of Sorgues - 26 points and 4 rebounds
6. Jacques Alingue (201-F-88) of Souffel - 13 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Florian Thibedore (193-G/F-90) of Quimper - 20 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Thibaut Lonzieme (195-G-89) of Angers BC 49 - 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Corey Raji (198-F-88) of Quimper - 21 points and 7 rebounds
10. Tyray Pearson (201-F-80) of St Chamond - 14 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
