Palencia Baloncesto (LEB Gold) split ways with 32-year old Ivory Coast ex-international forward Francis Koffi (202-81, college: Fresno State). He has a double citizenship as he also holds French passport. But in two LEB Gold games he did not score anything. He also spent pre-season at Blancos de Rueda (ACB) earlier that year. The last season Koffi played at Ourense (LEB Silver). In 36 games he recorded 11.9ppg and 5.7rpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish LEB Silver All-Bosmans Team. The previous (10-11) season Koffi played at Caceres Basket. In 10 LEB Gold games he averaged just 2.0ppg and 2.1rpg. He was a member of Ivory Coast Senior National Team in 2010. Koffi has played previously professionally in France (Paris-Levallois) and Spain (Leche Rio Breogan, Melilla Baloncesto, Gijon and La Palma). He attended Fresno State until 2004 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.

Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish TB2L All-Imports Team and 2nd Team. The most of previous (10-11) season he spent at Eiffel Towers Den Bosch (Eredivisie) in Dutch league. In 24 games he averaged 9.8ppg and 7.8rpg that season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Jackson also played at MBK Rieker Komarno (Extraliga) in Slovakian league earlier that season. In 17 games he averaged remarkable 19.2ppg, 11.2rpg (leader !!!), 1.1apg, 1.6spg and 1.4bpg. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Forward of the Year and voted to 1st Team and voted to All-Imports Team. Among other achievements his team was regular season runner-up in Big Ten in 2006 and 2009. Jackson graduated from Hawaii-Pacific University in 2010 and it is his third season in pro basketball. The scouts decsribe him following way: Athletic undersized big guy who will be very good big for mid-level leagues. Can shoot up to 15 feet from basket, nice face-up game and good with back around the basket with decent hands. Runs floor well and footwork is good. Very good rebounder and shot blocker in lower leagues. Not extremely long, but very strong and will take up a lot of space around the basket at higher level, but length will be an issue that he will work hard to overcome. Did not play much at NCAA Division I level, but excelled at D-II level.

Souffel overcame a strong opposition from Cognac to enter NM1 Final. Cognac trailed by 17 points at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 25-11 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 65-69 at the end of the game. Blois cruised past La Rochelle in the first semifinal battle of the day and clinched the title game birth. The game without a history. Blois led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding La Rochelle to just 5 points in third quarter. Blois made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded La Rochelle 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of center Jonathan Tornato (210-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American swingman Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jarryd Cole (204-88, college: Iowa) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and guard Faycal Sahraoui (188-79) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for La Rochelle. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
