Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (ProA) inked 28-year old American forward Brandon Brown (201-109kg-85, college: Cal State - San Bernardino). He started the season at Apollon in Cypriot Division A. In 14 games he was the best scorer with impressive 18.6ppg and recorded 7.2rpg (leader !!!), 1.9apg, 1.7spg and 1.1bpg this season. Brown also played 5 games in EuroChallenge where he averaged remarkable 22.2ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg. The last summer he was tested by Mavort (National League) in Ecuador. The last (11/12) season Brown played at Lanus (LigaA) in Argentinian league. In 13 games he had 8.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg. He also played at Trouville (LUB) in Uruguayan league earlier that season. In 21 games he was the best scorer with great 24.0ppg and averaged 9.1rpg, 2.0apg and 2.1spg. Brown also spent the start of the season at Halcones UV Xalapa (LNBP) in Mexican league earlier that year. In four games he was the best scorer with 8.5ppg and averaged 2.5rpg and 1.3spg.
The previous (2011) summer he played at Mineros de Cananea (CIBACOPA) in Mexican league. In 29 games he had very great stats: 24.1ppg, 10.9rpg (leader !!!), 1.2apg, 1.6spg (in top 5) and 1.0bpg. He helped them to win the league title. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Forward of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team.
Brown is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Iceland (Fjolnir), Lithuania, Poland, Portugal (Vitoria SC/M.Couto Alves Guimaraes) and France (Saint Vallier).
Worth to mention Brown played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He attended Cal State - San Bernardino until 2009 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
Brown's game is described as: complete Power Forward. He has a big body, bigger then his height might tell you. An extreme athlete who jumps out of the gym, for thunderous dunks, highflying dunks and gets up very high on rebounds
The good things about his games is that he is very athletic, he can rebound, offensive rebound put backs, running the floor hard in transition, can catch alley hoops, playing hard, and blocking shotsBrandon earned all-California Collegiate Athlete Association first-team honors and was voted the CCAA 'Newcomer of the year'' by the conference coaches. He was NABC all-West Region first team and Daktronics all-West Region first team and voted to the CCAA all-tournament team as the tournament MVP. He was selected as the CCAA player of the week four times out of ten. Brandon was also athlete of the year at Cal State San Bernardino. He led the CCAA in scoring (21.8) and was the conference second best rebounder (9.7)

The Regular Season in NM1 just ended. Leader Caen delivered the twenty seventh win on Sunday night. This time they beat 15th ranked Angers BC (13-21) 86-77. Angers BC was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-14 charge of Caen, which allowed them to win the game. Nanterre - Le Mans 96:79 Nanterre celebrated the French Cup title. They knocked down Le Mans in the Final tonight. Chris Warren (178-PG-88, college: Mississippi) produced 26 points to lead the winners. Nanterre eked out a 23:19 lead ten minutes into the game. They maintained the lead throughout the second term. Cholet Basket (ProA) landed 31-year old Montenegrin international power forward Ivan Maras (207-110kg-86). He played recently at Doxa Lefkadas in Greek A1 league. In 10 games he averaged 15.0ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.1apg this season. Maras also spent pre-season at Naft Abadan (Superleague) in Iran earlier that year where in 5 A1 games he had 12.6ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.4spg.
