Mondeville grabbed valuable road win against SEAT Lami in Hungary jumping to perfect 2-0 in Group A. It means that the French squad made a huge step forward to Preliminary Round. Lenae Williams (186-F-79, college: De Paul) once again was a key player in victory scoring 18 points. Actually she was the only one with double-digits as second scorer of the winning team was Yacine Sene (183-F-82) with 9 pts. For the hosts, Orsolya Englert (170-G-80) delivered 20 pts. Hajdana Radunovic (192-F/C-78) this time stopped on 10 and her SEAT Lami fell to 1-1. SEAT Lami was slightly better team at the beginning taking 18-17 lead in the first quarter. Mondeville responded until the half time, but that was enough just for plus one after 20 minutes of play. Third quarter was totally leveled. Teams exchanged baskets and neither was able to make a serious run. That finally happened at the halfway of the last quarter, when Mondeville jumped to 51-59. SEAT Lami made few consecutive baskets, but was not able to come any closer than 3 points, how much it was at the end after basket by Hajdana Radunovic. Actually, Mondeville missed in its last possession, but on the other side Djelmis was unsuccessful from behind the arc with just 7 second to go. There was not time for the hosts any more.

Polish Gorzow grabbed a 49:39 win over Bourges in the most defensive style in the EuroLeague Women. The hosts made history with the result as it marked their first-ever win in the competition.

At first Polish Gorzow nailed only 5 points in the third period as Styliani Kaltsidou (188-C/F-83) brought 39:30 in the game. In the last period Bourges scored only 9 and finished with just 39 points. Sidney Spencer (191-F-85, college: Tennessee) and Samantha Richards (167-G-83) led the way with 12 points each, while Justyna Zurowska (188-C-85) and Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk (188-F/C-89) posted 6 apiece. Endene Miyem (188-F-88) and Styliani Kaltsidou notched 11 points each for the guests. In another games of the group Dobri Angels celebrated the initial victory in Group C as they beat ZVVZ USK Prague at home. The Slovakian side registered 73:70 to improve to 1-3 record. Rivas Ecopolis is perfect in Group C with 4-0 record after the trip to Hungary. The Spanish team outscored MKB Euroleasing 70:63 as the latter dropped at 2-2.

Halcon Avenida claimed the third win in the Euroleague season. They bruised visiting Villenueve in Salamanca. Sancho Lyttle (193-C-83, college: Houston) tossed in 31 points, grabbed 11 boards and dished out 5 assists to lead the hosts.

Halcon Avenida claimed the third win in the Euroleague season. They bruised visiting Villenueve in Salamanca. Sancho Lyttle and Le'Coe Willingham (183-C-81, college: Auburn) ensured a 19-point lead for the Spaniards early in the second period. Halcon Avenida arrived at halftime ahead by 17 points. Sancho Lyttle continued to deliver after the main break. She allowed the hosts to keep their opponents at bay piling up a 73:42 lead at the final break. Halcon Avenida did not slow down in the fourth period rallying to a confident win at the end. Le'Coe Willingham produced 17 points and 11 boards for Avenida. Olexandra Gorbunova (186-F-86) added 13 points in the win. Lady Comfort responded with 15 points and 8 boards for Lille.
