   #1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Nando De Colo (196-87, currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Russian team CSKA to a victory over the 14th-ranked Galatasaray (8-17) 85-69 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. De Colo was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points and had 4 steals (made all of his eight free throws) in 26 minutes on the court. CSKA Moscow (19-6) is placed second in the Euroleague. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. De Colo has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 20.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.6apg, 2FGP: 57.8%(93-161), 3FGP: 40.9% and FT: 96.0%(97-101) in 18 games he played so far. De Colo is currently a member of the French senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Iona, currently plays in Spain). He was the main contributor in an CB Canarias' victory against the closely-ranked Movil Estudiantes (17-5) 82-63 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. Kirksay was the best player in that game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (18-5) is placed first in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Kirksay's overall stats this season are: 5.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 3FGP: 35.0%. He is a naturalized American. Kirksay played for the French national team in 2008. He used to play for Mulhouse in French league.

   #3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Fabien Causeur (195-87, currently plays in Germany). Causeur contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked EWE Baskets (13-11) crushing them 83-62 in the German BBL on Sunday night. He was the top player that evening. Causeur recorded 18 points and added 5 assists in 26 minutes. Brose Baskets Bamberg (23-1) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. Causeur has relatively good stats this year: 11.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.4apg, 2FGP: 57.1%(48-84), 3FGP: 49.1%(27-55) and FT: 78.9% in 19 games. He is also a member of the French senior national team.

Former U20 international forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in Italy) helped Enel Brindisi win their game against the closely-ranked Brescia 91-81 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. M'Baye recorded 21 points. This season he has very high stats. M'Baye averages: 19.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1bpg. He used to play for the French U20 national team back in 2009.

   #13. Former U20 international swingman Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (201-95, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA) helped Philadelphia 76ers edge the Los Angeles Lakers 118-116 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. Luwawu-Cabarrot scored 18 points and added 3 assists. Luwawu-Cabarrot's total stats this season are: 4.6ppg and 1.7rpg. He used to play for the French U20 national team two years ago.

   #14. International power forward Adrien Moerman (202-88, currently plays in Turkey) helped Darussafaka win their game against the closely-ranked Besiktas 71-68 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL last Monday. Former international shooting guard Edwin Jackson (190-89, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Tariq Kirksay in the Spanish Liga Endesa last game. Jackson couldn't help Movil Estudiantes (17-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Movil Estudiantes was badly defeated 82-63 in Tenerife by the leading CB Canarias. Jackson was the top scorer with 13 points. He also added 4 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). This season Jackson has very high stats. He averages: 22.7ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg. Jackson used to play for the French national team two years ago.

   #1. Jordan Semple (201-F-92, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Chico St., currently plays in Bulgaria) was the major contributor in a 3-point Academik Plovdiv's victory against the closely-ranked Balkan (9-10) 85-82 in the Bulgarian NBL last Friday. Semple recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 5 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Semple's second season in pro basketball. Akademik Bulteks 99 Plovdiv (12-6) is placed third in the NBL. Semple has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 21.2ppg, 12.2rpg, 3.8apg, 1.9bpg and 2.2spg. Semple is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in France.

   #2. Kim Tillie (210-PF-88, college: Utah, currently plays in Spain). Tillie could not help Baskonia (16-7) to beat La ICL Manresa (4-19). He scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Baskonia was defeated 87-82 on the road by the league outsider La ICL Manresa (#17). It was Baskonia's first loss after four consecutive victories. Tillie's total stats this season are: 7.0ppg and 3.3rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Dutch and French.

   #3. Experienced Herve Toure (205-PF-82, currently plays in Argentina) led Estudiantes Concordia to a victory against the ninth-ranked Atenas (13-24) 77-71 in the Argentinian LigaA on Tuesday night. Toure had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes. Estudiantes Concordia (28-13) is placed second in Norte group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Toure's total stats are: 8.0ppg and 6.0rpg in two games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Ivorian and French.

   #4. Mikael Maruotto (201-SF-91, currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to Monthey's victory against the seventh-ranked Swiss Central (8-11) 100-94 in the Swiss LNA last Saturday. He scored 21 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). BBC Monthey (14-5) is placed second in the LNA. Maruotto's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Maruotto averaged so far 12.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.1apg. He has both French and Swiss nationalities.

   #5. Navid Niktash (203-G/F-91, currently plays in United Kingdom) led London Lions to a victory over the closely-ranked Plymouth Raiders (12-13) 99-88 in the British BBL on Friday night. Niktash was the top player that evening. He recorded 17 points in a mere 18 minutes. London Lions (13-11) is placed fifth in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Niktash averaged so far 13.5ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4apg in 14 games. He also holds two passports: French and Iranian.

   #6. Elishay Kadir (202-PF-87, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help Maccabi Rishon in their game against Maccabi T-A in the Israeli Winner League. Kadir recorded 6 points. His team was edged 83-81. Kadir's total stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.0apg. He has French and Israeli nationalities.

   #7. Herve Lamizana (208-F/C-81, agency: Basket Management Solutions, college: Rutgers, currently plays in Taiwan) was the main contributor in a Yulon Luxgen's victory against the closely-ranked Taiwan Beer 68-61 in the Taiwanese SBL in Saturday night's game. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) inked 26-year old American center Brandon Davies (208-109kg-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket). He played most recently at AS Monaco Basket in French ProA. In 30 games he recorded 10.4ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.7apg last season. Davies helped them to win the cup. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (ProB) tabbed 32-year old shooting guard Philippe Braud (194-85) from JL Bourg Basket. He has played there for the last five years.
