We bring you last week's top performances from French who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Nando De Colo (196-87, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in CSKA's victory against the closely-ranked Olympiacos (19-11) 90-86 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. De Colo scored 23 points, made 6 passes and 3 steals (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 30 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CSKA Moscow (22-8) is placed second in the Euroleague. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. De Colo has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 20.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.0apg, 2FGP: 56.9%(116-204), 3FGP: 45.3%(39-86) and FT: 95.8%(114-119) in 23 games he played so far. De Colo is currently a member of the French senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, currently plays in Spain). He could not help Baskonia (18-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Beaubois' very good performance Baskonia was defeated 86-82 on the road by the leading Real Madrid. He was the top scorer with 19 points. It's Beaubois' first season with the team. Beaubois has relatively good stats this year: 12.0ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 62.9%(66-105), 3FGP: 28.8% and FT: 81.0%. He is in the roster of the French senior national team.

   #3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Nicolas Batum (203-88, currently plays in NBA). Batum was not able to help the Charlotte Hornets (37-45) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Charlotte Hornets (37-45) were defeated 121-114 in Boston by the Celtics. Batum was the top scorer with 31 points. He also added 8 rebounds and 3 assists. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. This season Batum has very high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 6.3rpg, 5.9apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.3%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 85.6%. Batum is also a member of the French senior national team.

   #4. Guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Anadolu Efes (17-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Anadolu Efes was badly defeated 97-80 in Madrid by the leading Real. Heurtel scored 13 points and added 6 passes in 27 minutes. Guard Leo Westermann (197-92, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) led his Lithuanian team Zalgiris to a victory against the closely-ranked Baskonia (17-13) 84-79 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Westermann scored 13 points and added 9 passes in 32 minutes. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (14-16) is placed tenth in the Euroleague. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. This year Westermann's overall stats are: 8.2ppg, 3.2rpg and 5.5apg in 30 games. He is a former international player as he played for the French senior team two years ago.

   #7. International center Rudy Gobert (216-92, currently plays in NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Portland Trail Blazers (41-39) 106-87 in the NBA last Tuesday. Gobert recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 3 blocks. The Utah Jazz has a solid 50-31 record this season. Gobert's team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This season Gobert has very high stats. He averages: 14.1ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.2apg and 2.7bpg. Gobert is also French national team player.

Swingman Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (201-95, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the Philadelphia 76ers (27-54) in their game against the Indiana Pacers (41-40) in the NBA, despite his very good performance on Monday night. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Luwawu-Cabarrot also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 37 minutes. But the Philadelphia 76ers (27-54) lost 111-120 in Indianapolis to the Indiana Pacers. He used to play for the French U20 national team back in 2015.

Power forward Ali Traore (207-85, another player represented by BeoBasket, college: S.Idaho JC, currently plays in Lebanon) contributed to Byblos' victory against the third-ranked Louaize (11-13) 90-84 in the Lebanese Pepsi LBL last Wednesday. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 11 rebounds. Traore also added 3 assists in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. Byblos Sporting Club (16-8) is placed second. The Second Stage already ended. Traore has very impressive stats this year: 18.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 2.4apg in eight games. He is a former international player as two years ago he still played for the French senior national team.

   #11. Former international shooting guard Evan Fournier (198-92, currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the Orlando Magic in their game against the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Fournier was the second best scorer with 23 points. This season Fournier has very high stats. He averages: 17.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 3.0apg. Fournier used to play for the French national team two years ago.

   #12. Former international shooting guard Edwin Jackson (190-89, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) led Movil Estudiantes to a victory over the 12th-ranked UCAM Murcia crushing them 109-84 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Jackson recorded 22 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 27 minutes. Jackson has very impressive stats this year: 22.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.1spg in 27 games. He used to play for the French national team back in 2015.

   #13. Former international center Kevin Seraphin (208-89, currently plays in NBA) faced previously mentioned Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot in the NBA last game. Seraphin contributed to an Indiana Pacers' victory against the Philadelphia 76ers 120-111. He scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Seraphin has averaged so far 4.7ppg and 2.9rpg. He used to play for the French national team two years ago.

   #14. International center Alexis Ajinca (215-88, currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the New Orleans Pelicans in their game against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA, despite his very good performance last Saturday. Ajinca recorded 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. But his team were crushed by 22 points 123-101 in the NBA. Ajinca has averaged so far 5.2ppg and 4.4rpg in 38 games. He plays currently for the French national team.

   #15. International power forward Adrien Moerman (202-88, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul to win against the closely-ranked Crvena Zvezda 78-62 in the Euroleague last Friday. Moerman scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has averaged so far 8.7ppg and 5.3rpg. Moerman is also in the roster of the French national team.

   #1. Kim Tillie (210-PF-88, college: Utah, currently plays in Euroleague) could not help Baskonia (17-13) in their last game. Despite Tillie's good performance Baskonia lost 79-84 at home to the lower-ranked (#10) Zalgiris. He scored 13 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 32 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Tillie's overall stats are: 7.2ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.1apg in 29 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Dutch and French.

   #2. Jordan Semple (201-F-92, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Chico St., currently plays in Bulgaria) was the major contributor in a 1-point Academik Plovdiv's victory against the sixth-ranked Spartak Pleven (10-12) 97-96 in the Bulgarian NBL last Saturday. Semple recorded 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Akademik Bulteks 99 Plovdiv (16-6) is placed second in the NBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Semple has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 20.3ppg, 12.1rpg, 3.5apg, 1.8bpg and 2.0spg. Semple is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in France.

   #3. Mattia Udom (200-F-93, currently plays in Italy) led Angelico Biella to a victory against the tenth-ranked Rieti (13-15) 75-68 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. Udom recorded 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. Angelico Biella (22-6) is placed first in West group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Udom has reliable stats this year: 10.7ppg and 5.0rpg in 24 games. He is another player who holds two passports: French and Italian.

   #4. Navid Niktash (203-G/F-91, currently plays in United Kingdom) led London Lions to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Leeds Force (8-23) 100-83 in the British BBL on Sunday night. Niktash was the best player in that game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds. London Lions (16-13) is placed sixth in the BBL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Niktash has reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.2apg. He has both French and Iranian nationalities.

   #5. Experienced Afik Nissim (185-PG-81, currently plays in Israel) was the main contributor in a 3-point Hapoel Eilat's victory against the league leader Hapoel Holon (18-9) 84-81 in the Israeli Winner League in Wednesday night's game. Nissim was the best player in that game. He scored 16 points and added 3 assists in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Eilat (17-10) is placed third in the Winner League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Nissim is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Hapoel's roster. Nissim has averaged so far 9.8ppg and 1.6apg in 24 games. He also holds two passports: French and Israeli.

   #6. Roy Samaha (205-C-84, currently plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Al Riyadi in their game against Tadamon in the Lebanese Pepsi LBL. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 19 minutes. His team was edged 89-87. Samaha has averaged so far 5.0ppg and 3.0rpg in five games. He holds both French and Lebanese passports.

   #7. Aleek Pauline (185-PG-87, college: Norfolk St., currently plays in Holland) contributed to Weert's victory against the fourth-ranked Den Bosch 93-80 in the Dutch Eredivisie in Saturday night's game. Pauline had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 35 minutes. Pauline has averaged so far 7.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.7spg in 12 games. He is a naturalized American. Pauline used to play for Union Bourbourg Grande Synthe in French league.

   #8. Elishay Kadir (202-PF-87, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion to win against the league outsider Maccabi K/G 94-87 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Kadir has averaged so far 7.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.2apg. He holds both French and Israeli passports.

   #9. Rytis Juknevicius (187-SG-93, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Lithuania) was not able to secure a victory for Suduva-Mantinga (30-8) in their last game on Tuesday. The Regular Season in NM1 just ended. Leader Caen delivered the twenty seventh win on Sunday night. This time they beat 15th ranked Angers BC (13-21) 86-77. Angers BC was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-14 charge of Caen, which allowed them to win the game.
