Here is the weekly review of the top performing French players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Turkey). He was the major contributor in an Anadolu Efes' victory against the 14th-ranked Trabzonspor (8-18) crushing them 100-77 in the Turkish BSL in Friday night's game. Heurtel scored 19 points and added 5 passes in 22 minutes on the court. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (22-4) is placed second in the BSL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Heurtel has relatively good stats this year: 12.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 7.7apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 46.7%, 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 82.5% in 22 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the French senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Nando De Colo (196-87, currently plays in Euroleague). De Colo led his Russian team CSKA to a victory against the seventh-ranked Baskonia (17-13) 98-90 in the Euroleague last Tuesday. He recorded 17 points (made all of his six free throws). CSKA Moscow (22-8) is placed second in the Euroleague. De Colo has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 20.0ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.9apg, 2FGP: 56.9%(120-211), 3FGP: 45.5%(40-88) and FT: 96.0%(120-125). De Colo is in the roster of the French senior national team.

   #3. The French player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to Baskonia's victory against the closely-ranked Gran Canaria (18-10) 95-90 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Friday night. Beaubois scored 16 points and added 6 assists in 21 minutes. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (19-8) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. This year Beaubois has relatively solid stats: 12.1ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 63.4%(71-112), 3FGP: 29.1% and FT: 81.0% in 21 games. He is also a member of the French senior national team.

Traore recorded 28 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. Byblos Sporting Club (16-8) is placed second. This season Traore has very high stats. He averages: 19.6ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg. Traore used to play for the French national team back in 2015.

   #5. International shooting guard Fabien Causeur (195-87, currently plays in Germany) led Brose Baskets to a victory over the 14th-ranked Walter Tigers (9-23) 87-75 in the German BBL last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Causeur scored 16 points and added 4 passes in 26 minutes. Brose Baskets Bamberg (27-3) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Causeur's first season with the team. He has reliable stats this year: 11.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 3.2apg in 24 games. Causeur plays currently for the French national team.

Parker recorded 18 points. The San Antonio Spurs have a solid 61-21 record this season. Parker is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his 16th year in Spurs' roster. His stats this season are: 10.3ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.4apg. Parker is also French national team player.

Despite Ajinca's good performance the New Orleans Pelicans (34-48) were defeated 108-96 on the road by the Los Angeles Lakers. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Former international shooting guard Edwin Jackson (190-89, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Movil Estudiantes' victory against the league outsider La ICL Manresa 95-90 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. Jackson scored 16 points and added 4 assists. This season Jackson has very high stats. He averages: 22.2ppg, 3.5rpg and 3.1apg. Jackson used to play for the French national team back in 2015.

   #13. Former U20 international swingman Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (201-95, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Philadelphia 76ers (27-55) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Philadelphia 76ers were edged 114-113 in New York by the Knicks. Luwawu-Cabarrot scored 14 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes. Former international point guard Andrew Albicy (177-90, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Andorra in their game against Unicaja Malaga in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He used to play for the French national team back in 2011.

   #15. Former international shooting guard Evan Fournier (198-92, currently plays in NBA) helped Orlando Magic win their game against the Detroit Pistons 113-109 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Fournier scored 12 points in 27 minutes. Fournier has very impressive stats this year: 17.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 3.0apg in 68 games. He used to play for the French national team two years ago.

   #1. Jordan Semple (201-F-92, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Chico St., currently plays in Bulgaria) could not help Academik Plovdiv (16-7) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Academik Plovdiv was crushed 85-64 on the road by the lower-ranked Beroe (#3). Semple recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 5 blocks. Semple's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Semple has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 20.3ppg, 12.0rpg, 3.4apg, 2.0bpg and 2.0spg. Semple is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in France.

   #2. Kim Tillie (210-PF-88, college: Utah, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz in a victory against the closely-ranked Gran Canaria (18-10) 95-90 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Friday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 19 minutes. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (19-8) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. This year Tillie's total stats are: 7.0ppg and 3.6rpg in 25 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Dutch and French.

   #3. Navid Niktash (203-G/F-91, currently plays in United Kingdom) led London Lions to a victory over the league leader Leicester Riders (25-4) crushing them 111-88 in the British BBL last Sunday. He was the best player in that game. Niktash scored 25 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes. London Lions (17-14) is placed sixth in the BBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Niktash has very impressive stats this year: 15.2ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.3apg in 21 games. He is another player who holds two passports: French and Iranian.

   #4. Experienced Afik Nissim (185-PG-81, currently plays in Israel) was the main contributor in a 3-point Hapoel Eilat's victory against the league leader Hapoel Holon (18-9) 84-81 in the Israeli Winner League in Wednesday night's game. Nissim was the best player in that game. He scored 16 points and added 3 assists in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Eilat (17-10) is placed third in the Winner League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Nissim plays fifth season for the team. This year Nissim's total stats are: 9.8ppg and 1.6apg in 24 games. He has both French and Israeli nationalities.

   #5. Mattia Udom (200-F-93, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Mens Sana 1871 (13-16) crushing them 83-55 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Saturday. Udom scored 9 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Angelico Biella (23-6) is placed first in West group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Udom averaged so far 10.6ppg and 5.1rpg. He also holds two passports: French and Italian.

   #6. Anthony Chada (196-G/F-89, currently plays in Belgium) was not able to help Kangoeroes (16-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Chada's good performance Kangoeroes was crushed 85-57 in Jemappes by the lower-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8). He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Chada averaged so far 10.7ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.7apg. He has French and Belgian nationalities. Despite Chada's French passport, he previously played for the Belgian U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the French team.

   #7. Elishay Kadir (202-PF-87, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a 1-point Maccabi Rishon's victory against the closely-ranked Ironi Nahariya 71-70 in the Israeli Winner League on Thursday night. Kadir scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. Kadir has averaged so far 7.7ppg, 5.9rpg and 2.2apg in 26 games. He has French and Israeli nationalities.

   #8. Roy Samaha (205-C-84, currently plays in Lebanon) contributed to a Al Riyadi's victory against the second-ranked Al Moutahed 88-82 in the Lebanese Pepsi LBL last Thursday. Samaha scored only 2 points in 12 minutes. Samaha has averaged so far 4.5ppg and 2.7rpg in six games. He holds both French and Lebanese passports.

   #9. Mikael Maruotto (201-SF-91, currently plays in Switzerland) helped Monthey win their game against the fourth-ranked Geneve Lions 75-65 in the Swiss LNA on Saturday night. Maruotto recorded 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Maruotto averaged so far 12.7ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.3apg. He has French and Swiss nationalities.

   #10. Alfredo Ott (190-G-83, college: Dillard, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Melilla Baloncesto (18-14) in their last game. Despite Ott's very good performance Melilla Baloncesto was edged 78-76 in San Sebastian by the leading Gipuzkoa. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Ott also added 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. Ott has averaged so far 7.7ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.5spg in 32 games. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Ott has never played in France.
