  German Cup: Artland Dragons capture the title 
The Artland Dragons have won the German BBL-Cup 2008. The team from Quakenbrueck defeated EnBW Ludwigsburg 74:60 in the final in Hamburg. 6500 fans in the Color-Line-Arena saw Chad Prewitt (206-F/C-80, agency: Priority Sports, college: Arizona St.) shooting 6/7 from the field in the game on Sunday afternoon. He led the Dragons with 15 points to the first ever BBL-Cup title. Adam Chubb (207-F/C-81, college: Pennsylvania) followed with 14 points and 8 rebounds, Lamont McIntosh (191-G-82, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Georgia St.) contributed with 12 points, while Leon Rodgers (199-F-80, college: N.Illinois) had 11. Ludwigsburg was paced by Ronald Ross (188-G-83, college: Texas Tech) who scored 11 points in the game, Heiko Schaffartzik (182-G-84) tallied 10 points. Boxscore: click
Eisbaeren Bremerhaven finished the Top Four-tournament as the third best team after beating ALBA Berlin 74:70 in the consolation game.   2008 Bundesliga All-Star Game 
Bundesliga ALL STAR day 2008 celebrated basketball in Germany Saturday night at SAP Arena in Mannheim where fans of all ages and from all over the country enjoyed an exciting, enertaining and action packed program highlighted by the North teams 104-88 All Star Game win. ratiopharm Ulm's Konrad Wysocki (202-F-82, college: Princeton) started for the South team in the headline event and finished with 9 points while teammate Jeff Gibbs scored 11 points in his second All Star appearance. ALBA Berlin guard Julius Jenkins (187-G-81, college: Georgia Southern) led all scorers with 22 points in leading the North to the win and earn the games MVP award. The North led 49-48 at half and broke the game open with a strong third quarter surge. The final buzzer capped the showcase as the 10,000 fans at beautiful SAP Arena enjoyed everything from mascots, breakdancers, the ALBA Berlin dance team and human beat-boxers along with the All Star Day events. In the NBBL All Star game, the South team topped the North 65-47. Ulm's E.J. Gallup (193-F-81, agency: Rasmussen Services, college: Co.Carolina) captured the three point title and Tubingen's Ray Nixon (203-F-84, college: Wisconsin) earned the Slam Dunk crown. A terrific day of fun and games, Bundesliga All Star Day 2008 was a shining success for the Bundesliga and fans.

SLAM DUNK CONTEST
It was Tubingen's Ray Nixon who claimed the 2008 Slam Dunk crown fighting off highflying amature Fabian Greiser (188-G) and Deutsche Bank Skyliners Jimmie Hunt (187-G-82, college: Franklin Pierce). Congratulations to Ray Nixon, the 2008 Bundesliga Slam Dunk Champion.

THREE POINT SHOOTOUT
ratiopharm Ulm's Shooting guard E.J. Gallup has buried many important threes for his team this season. Saturday, EJ outshot Leverkusen's Brendan Winters (195-G/F-83, college: Davidson), Jena's Brendan Plavich (188-G-81, college: Charlotte) and a handful of amatures to claim the 2008 Bundesliga Three Point Shooting crown.
