Ivan
Todorovic
27-year old Ivan Todorovic (214-C/F-84, agency: Interperformances) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Olimpi and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 28 points adding nine rebounds for Olimpi in his team's victory, helping them to crush Sokhumi (#4, 8-6) with 19-point margin 84-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Olimpi maintains the 2nd position in Georgian league. They are still close to the very top. Olimpi would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. In the team's last game Todorovic had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Olimpi and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Ivan Todorovic averages just after two games 25.0ppg and 7.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Beka Tsivtsivadze (190-G-89) of Dinamo Tbilisi. He is a guard in his first season at Dinamo Tbilisi. In the last game Tsivtsivadze recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Dinamo Tbilisi to another comfortable win 89-75 over the lower-ranked Samedicino (#9, 5-9) being unquestionably team leader. Dinamo Tbilisi's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tsivtsivadze is one of the most experienced players at Dinamo Tbilisi and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Ivo Hoger (225-C-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) of league's second-best Olympus. Hoger scored 15 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Olimpi, leading his team to a 84-65 easy win against #4 ranked Sokhumi in a game of the week. Olimpi is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 11-2 record is not that bad... Hoger has a very solid season. In 11 games in Georgia he scored 12.0ppg. He also has 9.1rpg, 1.1bpg and FGP: 62.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Keyon Carter (203-F-88) of Dinamo Tbilisi - 23 points, 16 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Will Thomas (203-PF-86) of Armia - 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Davit Barbakadze (203-F-82) of Kutaisi - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Tracy Smith (203-F) of MIA Academy - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Vasili Beruashvili (198-F-90) of TSU Tbilisi - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

10. Ben Woodside (180-PG-85) of Armia - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
