Sweden - Georgia 73:60 Sweden advanced into the Final of the Anwil Basketball Challenge basketball tournament. They overcame Georgia in the first game at the tourney. Tobias Borg (184-PG-93) stepped up with 18 points to lead the Scandinavian team. Sweden grabbed a 22:18 lead after the first period. They maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Basket Globalcaja Quintanar (EBA) signed 25-year old Georgian forward Grigol Shvangiradze (196-91). He played last season at Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague. In 36 games he had 6.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg. Shvangiradze helped them to make it to the final.
