Tornike
Shengelia
Will Shengelia stay in NBA? It depends on Tornike. Georgian forward will have a chance to show his possibilities at summer leagues and perhaps, he will deserve a contract from the
club.
Philadelphia took Shengelia on draft as No.54. Though, after several minutes, the club gave all rights to Brooklyn Nets (former New Jersey Nets). The team of Russian billionaire
Mikhail Prokhorov moved from New Jersey to Brooklyn.

There were a lot of fans of Shengelia on the draft held at Prudential Center. Besides managers, father Kakha Shengelia and Zaza Pachulia, captain of Georgian national team, were
with Tornike. After the end of the draft, website of Georgian Basketball Federation published comments of them.

Tornike Shengelia: It was a busy evening. I am very tired emotionally but I am happy that everything ended up well. The draft lasted three hours and half and imagine how it is when
you expect your name. There were more than 60 basketball players in the ball and some of them were not lucky. It is difficult when no one chooses you. I am happy. Thanks to god,
everything ended up well.

Zaza Pachulia: A good team chose Tornike. Nets has a great potential and perhaps, the team will sign contract with Shengelia. But everything depends on Tornike. He must show
himself at summer league. The draft ended successfully and now, he will do his best to win a right to play in NBA.

Kakha Shengelia: After No.50 I got nervous. Manager said everything had been arranged but it was not so. According to him, New Orleans was to take Tornike but finally,
Philadelphia took him as No.54. Later, we found out that Dallas wanted to take Tornike as No.55. Representative of Dallas called Guy Zucker, manager of Tornike, and told him
that the team was disappointed. Tornike Shengelia (207-F-91)

Dinamo Leads the Final Series 2:0 - 5 days ago
The second game of the Final Series was played today between Dinamo and Kutaisi. This time Dinamo defeated Kurtaisi without any difficulties and leads the series 2:0.
