Estonia clinched the first win at the U20 European Championship in Slovenia. They knocked down Georgia at the start of classification round action in Group G. Rauno Nurger (207-C-93) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning team.
Estonia led by just three points after the opening quarter 19:16. The Baltic team stretched the lead in the second quarter. They posted a 43:36 halftime advantage. Georgia narrowed the deficit in the third term. Beka Burjanadze (203-F-94) drew things level at 52 finally. Phhakadze then put Georgian in front 55:52 but Estonia quickly recovered and regained a 63:60 lead at the final intermission. They opened the fourth quarter on a 15:3 rally to clear off. Estonia then coasted to the victory at the end. Jaan Puidet (192-G/F-92) accounted for 14 points, while Martin Paasoja (191-G-93) and Rannar Raap (190-G/F-92) contributed 13 points each for the winners. Beka Burjanadze answered with 21 points for Georgia. Irakli Alkhanaidze (202-F-92) netted 17 points in defeat.

Olimpi - MIA Academy 86-65 (1-1) Olimpi tied tthe Finals at 1-1. The game without a history. Olimpi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lapuan Korikobrat (Korisliiga) added to their roster 22-year old Georgian point guard Givi Bakradze (185-91, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management). It is actually his comeback to Lapuan Korikobrat as he played here before. Bakradze played last season at TSU Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague. Armia - Kutaisi 68:57 Armia clinched Bronze medals in Georgia as they won the game for the thrid place against Kutaisi. The Winner of 2011/2012 season finished the year with a 68:57 win. The game was mostly controlled by Armia. Kutaisi managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
