Bosnia and Herzegovina overcame Georgia in Bucharest at the U16 European Championship in Division B. The winning side produced a 82:52 win as both teams are tied with 1-1 record in Group C.
Bosnia and Herzegovina won the opening tip 5:1 and Smajlovic scored for 12:7. Sandro Gacic (196-SG-96) closed a 6-0 run for 18:7, while Gogaladze delivered two for 20:13. The second quarter was a nightmare for Georgia and brought 30-11 surge for Bosnia. djorde Beronja (199-C-96) scored the last four points for the winners to send the teams to the lockers at 50:24. Moreover Bosnia and Herzegovina produced the same quarters in the second half winning them 16-14. Bevanda increased the win to 30 points as the teams finished the game in Romania.
Amar Balic (178-PG-96) and Sandro Gacic chipped in with 15 points each, while djorde Beronja poured in 12. Willy Isiani (195-PF-97) ended up with 14 points in the losing effort. Giorgi Gugeshashvili (197-F-96), Soso Matchavariani (196-SF-96), Davit Lomidze (187-SG-97) and Temur Petriashvili (180-SG-96) followed him with 6 points apiece.
