Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrated the third victory in a row at the start of U18 European Championship in Division B. The hosts held off Georgia to stay perfect in Group D. Jusuf Nurkic (212-C-94) came up with 31 points and 15 rebounds to lead the winners.
Georgia looked confident early in the game. The visitors fired 24 points in the opening quarter to take a 3-point lead at the first break. But Bosnia and Herzegovina gradually took over. The home side eked out a 41:40 halftime lead. Bosnia and Herzegovina started to get away in the third quarter. They ensured 9-point lead before the fourth stanza. Bosnia and Herzegovina kept Georgia at safe distance throughout the fourth term and sealed the victory at the end. Adin Vrabac (202-G/F-94) nailed 17 points, issued 7 assists and grabbed 6 boards for the winners. Irakli Mikeladze (180-PG-94) answered with 25 points for Georgia. Beka Burjanadze (203-PF-94) had 12 points and 14 boards in the loss.

29-year old Serbian center Dragan Tubak (216-87, agency: HMS). He played last season at Feni Industries in FYR Macedonia Prva Liga, but left the team in Apr.'16. In 20 games he had 8.8ppg and 7.4rpg. American Thomas Spagnolo (201-F-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Rustavi and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 2. The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Olimpi (#7, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 82-68. There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Superleague. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Batumi (1-1) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Dinamo Tbilisi (2-0) 91-86. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points.
