Burjanadze leads Georgia over Norway at the U18 European Championship in Division B. He erupted with 23 points and 14 rebounds in a 91:66 win at the Classification Round for 17th to 22nd Place. Georgia improved to 2-0 record, while Norway fell at 0-2.
Georgia started well and reached 23:16 after the first period. They added 26-16 in the second frame for 49:32 halftime advantage. Burjanadze scored for 51:37 and Ramishvili later brought 62:39. Tomaradze nailed three to close the period at 68:47 and then Georgia easily led the game to the victory.
Nika Ramishvili (179-SG-94) posted 17 points and Giorgi Tsirekidze (202-C-94) added 16. Valeri Kvantaliani (202-PF-94) delivered 9 points in the winning effort. Espen Fjaerestad (192-SG-94) scored 14 points in defeat, while Nicholas Seach (181-PG-94) and Nikola Blatancic (194-F-94) had 10 each.

Basket Globalcaja Quintanar (EBA) signed 25-year old Georgian forward Grigol Shvangiradze (196-91). He played last season at Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague. In 36 games he had 6.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg. Shvangiradze helped them to make it to the final. Basketball Club Batumi (Superleague) confirmed in their roster 30-year old Ukrainian forward Igor Krivtsov (201-97kg-86). He played there last season. In 33 Superleague games he had 14.5ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. Krivtsov helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
