Zaur Pashayev (188-G-83) will remain Kutaisi player for another season. The Azeri guard has agreed on terms of contract extension with the team. Zaur Pashayev moved to Kutaisi at the start of the previous season. He notched 6.1 points, 3.9 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game in Superleague. The guard made it into Superleague semifinals with Kutaisi. Previously Zaur Pashayev played for Gala Baku, NTD Devon Baku and NTD Tbilisi. He was named All-Azerbaijan League Player of the Year in 2007. The guard participated at 2004 and 2009 Azerbaijan League All-Star Games. He has been the member of Azerbaijan National Team since 2001. Zaur Pashayev notched 9.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game at the 2013 EuroBasket Qualification.

Former international Power forward Beka Bekauri (207-PF-91) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Kutaisi and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 8. The 25-year old power forward had a double-double of 23 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Cactus Tbilisi (#5, 3-4) 93-82. Kutaisi maintains the 2nd position in Georgian Superleague. Superleague Round 8: Dinamo Tbilisi beats Olimpi in a derby game - 1 day ago

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#1) and Olimpi (#7). Olimpi was defeated at home 75-83 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. Oleksandr Tyshchenko (ex Kremen) signs at Sokhumi - 3 days ago

Sokhumi Tbilisi (Superleague) landed 27-year old Ukrainian center Oleksandr Tyshchenko (206-110kg-89). He already started the season at Kremen in Ukrainian Superleague.
